Namco (along with a couple other developers, I believe) remade Splatterhouse in 2010. I thought it was a great game. They also included the original Splatterhouse series, 1 - 3.
This game has such a vibe to it. The chapel scene really highlights this. The other two games in the series really are great in their own right, but can’t quite capture the same tone as the original.

If you dance correctly at the mirrors, they speed up the auto-scroll.
