God I can't wait! But I wasn't 100% on the cast. I know Zach and Brennan, are you counting Brennan? Or is it Lou? Love Siobhan but I don't think I caught her in the trailer
@@bertoandon9681 I think the comment was about Lou and Zac specifically because the clip is about them, but yeah, Lou, Zac, Brennan, Aabria Iyengar and Anjali Bhimani are the cast for this one!
I love how Lou will say he'll never do something and then does it amazingly well. He said he'd never play a warlock and was his warlock Pinocchio was brilliant.
he’s literally like in shows and stuff where they’re like “there is no way you’re gonna get me in that car not a chance n-“ and then it cuts to the next scene and they’re in the car, do you get it? Do you get what I mean? I’m not sure I’m explaining myself very well im happy to sit here and comment as many times as needed to get this point across don’t be afraid to ask for clarification I really, really want to be crystal on this
I absolutely love how Brennan seems both shocked and horrified by Lou and Zac's stress-based decisions against their personal health, and also guilty over it a bit.
It could be because I’m sick but, the contrast between Brennan in campaigns, being like a dark and evil force when called for, and Brennan here, sounding genuinely upset at the consequences of his actions, is actually killing me right now😭😭
I've basically learned that to be a good Dungeon Master you need to be at least a bit of a sadist. But what to remember is that good Sadists never hurt someone without consent and never leave lasting consequences. Causing someone to start smoking from the stress? Yeah that's definitely a "failure" as a Dungeon Master XD
What's even kind of funnier is that he only says that when Lou mentions cigarettes. When he just said he was smoking I bet Brennan thought he meant in a self medicating way like Zac but when he realised he meant actual cigarettes I think he actually felt a little bad
Gotta love A Crown of Candy STILL traumatizing the players to this day. What an incredible season (arguably the best one, even though I haven't finished binging every campaign yet)
For pure drama and acting talent, easily the best. Starstruck is the one I keep watching over and over, though. Especially the episode Every day is our Wurst day. I just love the insanity and madcap hilarity. The whole cast had Axford energy for that season.
The type of person to put so much care and effort into a project such that they'd say they'd never do that again is the type of person to do it again because they loved caring that much.
Zac: "I had to self-medicate." Lou: "I'm good with never returning to Comida ever again." Also Lou and Zac: Agree to be a part of the prequel where they will see Lou's character's siblings from ACOC die. The Ravening War could potentially be more stressful for them than the original series.
My favorite part was hearing Lou talk about smoking a pack of cigarettes and all I can hear in the back of my mind is Kingston talking about popcorn lung to Alejandro from the unsleeping city season 1
Did not think Lou was a cigarette smoker or that Zac smokes the devil's lettuce. Honestly would have thought it would be the other way around! I need to get rid of my misconceptions 😅
I think if he was talking about weed, which is completely legal in California, he would have said so. I'm guessing it's more likely he was " hanging out with Katie Marovitch".
@@esobelisk3110 I mean there were carrots and broccoli in Vegetania, so a Marijuana man isn’t that crazy. If there was an edible person they would most likely be half Vegetanian and half Candian and be like a pot brownie or something
I loved a crown of candy. I loved the ravening war. Dk why food puns and GOT references go sooo well together. Also really enjoying never stop blowing up ready for a new episode ASAP
I wonder if doing a prequel will result in it being less nerve wracking, knowing how the general world will end up just a couple decades later. There’s a lot less time between the past and present than, say, EXU Calamity.
We already know that a lot of stuff goes down in the Ravening War based on what we gleam from A Crown of Candy. Not getting into spoilers, but a bunch of key things happen because of unseen events in that era. And Mercer gets to pull from all of that as he wishes.
IIRC it was a specific line from Murph at the end of episode 14. Slight spoiler, gonna put it far down. Edit: I've confirmed it, Lou talks about it on the Adventuring Party "Rude Goldberg..." at about 50 minutes in. . . . . . . . . . . "You have TWO living daughters"
Knowing Brennan, he probably had a huge role to play in bringing them back to Calorum. He's not even running the campaign he just convinced them to join as fellow PCs
I wish I could say more because I can not explain how much of an impact you made in my thinking processes. I can't because unfortunatly I cannot think in complex word thingies.
I'm currently watching this season for the first time before Ravening war, so I'm curious / scared to see what they are talking about. But also, just wanted to say that Lou has such a beautiful smile and face.
[Spoilers for Ravening War] the new party kills the Queen of Candia, Amethar's mother. And the heartbreaks are only going to keep coming. Maybe they'll have to fight and kill Amethar's sisters as well.
This is why when people try to say they were fine shooting this season and had a lot of fun (true at some points) I literally balk, like Emily’s reaction to Lou keeping track of cinnamons hp is real, there was tension and it’s a hard season to watch because of it, it’s not an overreaction to not want them to go thru it again when we could have a starstruck season instead.
i've watched people literally die from the damage they did to themselves smoking constantly their whole lives. i've seen people who you literally can't understand a word out of their mouth anymore because their throat, longs, vocal chords are so fucked up from the chemicals they keep pumping into it. i've watched members of my own family push themselves further and further into struggling to pay the bills or get food just so they can keep buying smokes. almost everyone I've met that smokes hates the fact that they're addicted to this shitty thing and will refuse to let others join the addiction if they don't already. and the smell, the fucking smell. it gets into everything, clothes, cars, even just their fucking skin, it invades your nose and your lungs so goddamn intensely even when you aren't the one smoking it, and yet people smoke in their fucking *cars* with their children or even *babies* in the backseat. there are so many ways in which it's so fucking awful and fucks people up so much - and not *just* the ones smoking it but others around them too, even if they're only around *after*, when the smell and the cigarette butts just pile into them at every moment. and so it drives them away and cuts out the people that don't join you in that addiction because it fucking sucks to be around there are so many better ways to let off stress. so many less fucking devastating and less harmful ways. i hate it, so much, and I can't ever understand or be comfortable with people being so casual about something so life-destroying and isolating like that
i was so mad at caramelinda for the lingerie shop situation, because i ultimately blame her for not performing her duties and protectingnthe castle from forces seen and unseen ... absolutely useless ... amethar should've put her in her place afterwards which didn't happen for what i am dissapointed in lou for not considering that angle, but it's DMs NPC so really, how else would that confrontation turn out but in retribution from the DM and the writers in some way
The fact these two are returning for The Ravening War is now extra hysterical.

Lou’s acting in a crown of candy is some of the best we’ve seen in all of dimension 20
“She’s my daughter. I support her. I support you as well. I’m trying to support everybody. It’s VERY hard to be a father.”
