The Sequel is Magical; Magic is in danger once more when Daniela Lorenzi, Bruno’s ex-lover and her older brother, Nicolah Lorenzi, plan to steal away the magic from the Madrigals. Years ago, Daniela used Bruno to access the family’s secrets. As a result, Nicolah and Daniela gained dark gifts in the process. Nicolah received the gift of mind manipulation and Daniela received the gift of nails made of acid poison. The first time they tried to steal the Madrigal’s family was during Mirabel’s gift ceremony, as a result for their Interference, Mirabel didn’t get one. The siblings were defeated the first time by Julieta, Bruno and Pepa. That’s why Bruno actually left, because he felt guilty for trusting Daniela and costing Mirabel’s gift. Years later, Daniela had a daughter, Electra. She received the dark gift of lightning and storms. She’s Bruno’s daughter, but neither she or Bruno know that. Nicolah had a son named Jonah. He has the dark gift of creating dark magic weapons. At first he’s at his father’s side, but he later starts developing feelings for Lizzie. Nicolah kidnaps Mirabel and steals the candle. He plans to use the current matriarch of the family to steal the Madrigal’s magic. Now, it’s up to the next generation of the Madrigals to save magic once again.

- ATLEAST 5 new characters outside the madrigal family
- still mainly focusing on mirabel (obviously) but maybe include more of pepa and Felix’s side of the family
- more amazing songs
- song for Dolores
- song for camilo
- more of Bruno’s visions, maybe an upgrade for his power
- conquerors returning
- more butterflies 🦋
- magic outside the encanto town
- an actual villain
- more relationships/love but not any that would anger the fandom

- more screen time for characters that weren’t seen as much in encanto 1
- a better plot with actual plot twists

If they do make a encanto 2 I hope they make sure Bruno is still a bit awkward and stuff instead of brushing off his behavior like it all didn’t happen. As someone who relates with Bruno I feel like they should keep in his awkward nature but make him the cool uncle and maybe he still has a bit of his superstitions that he’s still trying to unlearn? I’d like it if they added a line showing one of the family members sort of instinctively saying “Bruno” when something bad happens but then they catch themselves and go “Nono Bruno isn’t bad he’s a good guy..”

I think the perfect thing they can do is to make a main movie and little movies about every character. I know it's a hard work to do this things but everyone would be happy and everyone would appreciate the work.

I have so many ideas for an Encanto 2 story, but for sure it should in broad strokes rhyme with the original movie in theme and story, but not be a carbon copy remake. A “next generation” story could go well, but I would rather explore further the idea that fear can lead good people to do harmful things out of a love misplaced.
Think about it: Dolores’ wedding, Mirabel is troubleshooting and keeping preparations organized, checking in with Abuela who is visibly feeling her age. Wedding goes off well, though Disney shenanigans ensue on the fringes with the Madrigals taking it in stride to show they are in a better place, more relaxed and in sync with each other as a family. During the reception feast Pepa finally has had it with Camilo’s antics and a huge windstorm comes out and ensnares a blimp from outside the Encanto and it crashes right by the party, there is one occupant that would have fallen to his death if all the Madrigals didn’t work together like a superhero team and Luisa ends up catching him at the last second. Sparks immediately fly between them, and then Mirabel breaks them up to find out who this outsider is and wonders if he could be a threat to the Encanto, and to her family. The rest of the movie is Mirabel monopolizing the stranger Miguel’s time trying to figure his angle, Luisa and Miguel snarking around to see each other, and Isabella having a crush on the new guy as he represents everything she hasn’t seen and done in her life.
Luisa is mad at the family because everyone is getting married and chosen for love but her, and now Mirabel is trying to take the first man that looks her way from her for no good reason. Maybe Miguel has a dark secret, or just an embarrassing one? If I remember correctly, it is tradition for women in the family to get married roughly in birth order, and both Isabella and Mirabel having suitors before her has to rankle, and cause Luisa to wonder if the only thing anyone outside the family will see her as is ‘the strong one’ and never see the bleeding romantic heart underneath yearning for the kind of happiness her parents have. Resolution will have to be suitably dramatic, and open Mirabel’s eyes to the ways she was minimizing Luisa’s agency and feelings.
Having gone through this trial by fire of her leadership, Mirabel is able to formally take on the duties as the head of the family Madrigal!

I remember that I saw this information on a website before and it said that it would be a new generation and that Mirabel would have the same role as Abuela in Encanto1. And if they really will do something like that, they will disappoint almost all Encanto fans (in my opinion).

“Who dares..?” She would say, then mirabel and Julieta would escape, “there’s no escape for you mirabel and Julieta!” meanwhile, Mirabel and Julieta are still on the journey to save the magic, they came across elementary evil, they knew they had to collect every shard and the ring piece, so they did, which made Dolores really mad, “I WELCOMED YOU HERE AND I TRIED SO HARD TO BE NICE TO YOU! BUT YOU DON’T CARE! YOU DON’T WANT TO BE MY FRIENDS! YOU JUST WANNA STEAL MY THINGS!!! YOU ARE MEAN.. BAD PEOPLE!!! now you’re in trouble, you made Dolores so mad too.” Agatha would say,
Dolores would appear and say “End of the road mirabel and Julieta..”
Dolores would chase them, “GIVE THAT BACK TO ME MIRABEL AND JULIETA! HAND IT OVER! AND I’LL MAKE YOUR DEATHS QUICK!!!” She would say,
Then mirabel and Julieta would run back to where they first started,
“Going somewhere?” Agatha would say
“You! You’ll never escape! I won’t let you take my friends from me!”
“It’s open!” Alma would say.
“ALMA! STAY OUT OF MY ROOM! YOUR BOTH CHEATING!!!!!”
Mirabel and Julieta would run out the door.
Dolores would get so so frustrated.
Mirabel and Julieta would continue running, but they would enter the deadly decadence manor, mirabel and Julieta would collect all the outside shards, then they would encounter the gold watchers, then they would run to the manor and enter after collecting all the outside shards, Dolores would be watching their every move,
Meanwhile mirabel and Julieta would already be inside the manor, they have to collect every shard inside the manor, and then the ring piece, so that’s what they did, now they had to escape, which they did,
Dolores is now frustrated that they escaped the manor, meanwhile mirabel and Julieta fell into the stranger sewers, where they collected the shards and ring piece, as always, but before they could start the mission, something grabbed Julieta, there was eyes and a sign that said “watch out for the big one”
Mirabel helped Julieta, then they continued through the stranger sewers, collecting every soul shard, then the ring piece, but when they got it, they heard Dolores “that’s far enough mirabel and Julieta.. you know, you’re the first of Alma’s pets to cause me some trouble, I should commend you for your tenacity.. well, commendable as you maybe.. I’m afraid your little streak ends here.. you know, watching you run around obediently, has reminded me that I have a loyal pet as well.. here, let me introduce you, so you can both get more properly acquainted.. now I must take my leave, business calls elsewhere.. oh and alma, I know your there.. peering through your little puppet.. I’ll be settling matters with you very soon..” then Dolores would laugh and then disappear, leaving mirabel and Julieta to fight the doom ducky, then they managed to defeat it, and they would run for the ladder that leads to crazy carnevil, Then they would get all the soul shards again, zone 1 and 2, then they would encounter Dolores one more time before they escape, “uh uh uh, I’ve got you now mirabel and Julieta.. here we are, yet again, it’s not going to go quite so well this time, I’ll finish you off here and take.. your souls.. that said, let’s up the antique a bit shall we?”
Then Goliath clowns would appear, and mirabel and Julieta would have to fight them “keep them laughing while you die, won’t you?” Dolores would say, laughing and then she would disappear again.. mirabel and Julieta had a hammer to fight the Goliath clowns, but gremlin clowns would appear too, mirabel and Julieta would have to hit them with their hammer for them to disappear, they also had to hit the Goliath clowns hands with their hammer, so they defeated the Goliath clowns
“NO! IMPOSSIBLE! Mirabel and Julieta.. your suffering will be ETERNAL!!!”
Mirabel and Julieta decided to fight Dolores and then defeated her, then they escaped the crazy carnevil, and made it back to the village.
Alma was so delighted to see mirabel and Julieta had returned, But the sun exploded, That would be the ending.
