GWR 1450 Tank and Autocoach Severn Valley Railway 21 Sep 19

GWR 1400 Class 1450 0-4-2 Tank and Autocoach at Severn Valley Railway Gala 21 Sep 2019. Designed by Collett and built at Swindon in 1935. The autocoach and 1400 Class were specially designed for push-pull operation on the many GWR branchlines where they speeded up services and avoided run rounds at stations. The train could be controlled from the loco or the autocoach depending on which way it was running.
