I highly recommend placing a semi translucent watermark over the full image, that way they cannot steal it! 😊 Another thing, people cannot get bored of your art! If you reach the right audience and continue to do what you love, everyone will love it as well.

Instagram incorporated a new tag system that severely effects the growth of small artists. Is there any other way to grow with tags? Because ever since the new algorithm was implemented, my reach as plummeted.

I would actually! If you're losing followers, they may have been bot accounts, a lot of times bots will follow certain tags then spam copy-paste comments everywhere super annoyingly. If trying out reels don't help, I'd maybe consider restarting!

Starting over is not that simple either. I started a new account 3 months ago. I’m posting regularly, I’m posting reels. Initially there was some growth, not super fast but you know you think it will get better… nope, a month ago suddenly my growth completely stopped, I’m stuck at about 145 followers. Nobody seems to see my posts, not even the people that follow me! It’s the most frustrating thing ever. And no, it’s not that my work is that bad either 😅 I’m a full time professional artist and have been for many years. I just hit a wall with IG. I have heard the same of other artists with new accounts. I don’t really know what to do to change this. I keep on posting but I do ask what is the point of this!!
Hey! I'm sorry that's what youre impression was! I made this video nearly immediately after gaining 40k followers after my account was very stagnant. Sadly Instagram changes it's algorithm every 2 seconds it feels like, it's for sure a struggle. But all the tips in the video were what I personally applied to my social media tactic for growing 💗 I could make an updated video for the new year? I know something I didn't mention that's definitely now applicable to the algorithm is replay-ability. If you get people to read your caption, the algorithm has been liking that!

Ive been making reels instead of using tags. Those have helped soo much bc i was consistent in posting :)

tags work yes, but you need to ONLY use relevant tags. less tags can work wonders now but it takes forever for the system to push your work.
