    I hope you do these kind of videos every month for all scales for beginners . Loved this one

    Been at this for about a year and a half. Taken lessons specific to theory. You have done more to further my knowledge in two lessons than most all of that combined. You make it relevant.

      +swiftlessons Nice video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Riddleagan Blossoming Solo Remedy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great exclusive product for mastering guitar scales minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend Sam after many years got astronomical results with it.

    Old slow and bad memory retention here but I love your videos, makes me kinda get a grasp on some things, still struggling to memorize the fret board, finding it difficult but in 1 of your other videos, you said to call out the notes and not the numbers, that really helped me a lot so eventually i may find it easier. Thanks.

    Great Lesson! Do you mind briefly explaining why the major thirds theoretically make sense? Also, at the end of that section when you say to think of each of these positions "as a chord" how do you define if those positions are major or minor. For example, the second position..(B, D), why is this a B minor? Thank you!!

    • @nigelblack4677
      @nigelblack4677 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a more direct answer to your question, but practically speaking, if you learn your major and minor triads for strings 1-2-3 (E-B-G), 2-3-4 (B-G-D), and 3-4-5 (G-D-A) (and especially the inversions that relate directly to that specific area of the fretboard), then you'll really understand the issue of thirds and major/minor chords.
