Thanks for this I suspect I'll have to watch it a few times. If you could explain why the calculations are what you selected it would make it that much more clear.
I am not sure which calculations you are referring to. If it's for the hinge functionality it's because that's what works. Sometimes you have to print one then adjust to work the way you want it to.
@@Adventuresincreation I'm not a mechanical guy so I'll likely not describe this correctly... the calculations for the hinge cutout, the number and spacing of the cutout, gaps etc. Thanks
Great, I would love to see the finished article. I expected you could graft anything onto the hinge. Part two is all ready for release on Wednesday. I just didn't want to push out an hour long video... Not sure anyone would watch it. 😉
It is brilliant how TH-cam uses its "creators" to influence the audience to create TH-cam accounts. ("I noticed 80% of you are not subscribed"). Even the smallest channels do this, what a wonderful world.
Not sure I understand, it's not asking people to create accounts more asking for a subscription to the channel to encourage production of new content. I suppose that is brilliant by TH-cam but, it is an ecosystem where people want to see content, and creators want to be appreciated. TH-cam profits from that ecosystem but I am not sure that's anything but brilliant. - I guess I agree with you.
Hi, another super helpful video of yours! I like your topics, you pick interesting useful topics to cover. I've learned a lot from your videos, very appreciative of your efforts. I've just subscribed to your channel.
I like your videos but have a problem. A few of us have poor eye sight. The pointer is very small and move so fast that it disappear. Is it possible for you to increase the pointer size and make it red as some sites have already done it for us. With a bigger pointer and red the pointer speed do not mater anymore. Thanks a lot.
so cool! I haven't completed your lessons yet, but my current 3d printer camera mount needs a hinge and I was hoping that you did and found you had made such a video! fyi do you have a discord or any other place people can post what they have done because of your training?
Why do you reference your spreadsheet parameters using the "Spreadsheet" prefix rather than the name you gave the sheet? If you have multiple sheets in a file, this would make it so you aren't referencing them by their iterative names ("Spreadsheet, Spreadsheet001, etc") but by their more memorable names ("HingeSheet" in this case.) Wasn't sure if there was some reason that made that problematic.
Got it, thanks. Not sure what's going on. I did have to delete some spam over bitcoins but I promise I did not delete any of your comments. TH-cam normally puts them in a hold for review if it thinks they are suspicious but it didn't even put Mrs bitcoin in there 😉

@@lysynski The values I used were what worked for me in trials.
Thanks for getting to this so quickly. Looking forward to part 2 and then i will attempt to graft it onto your parametric box :-)

Just another subscriber checking in and thanking you one more time for a fantastic job of teaching...
Thank you
Just a note to tell you I really appreciate your videos and I'm NOT a lurker - I've been subscribed for some time 😂
Thanks Lewis. I really appreciate the feedback.
Learned more today watching your new video, thank you very much and looking forward to part 2
You are welcome, I am expecting to upload part 2 on Wednesday. If you hit the bell 🛎 on the subscription TH-cam will notify you 😉
@@Adventuresincreation Something else you just thought me, never knew that about the bell....Ohhh...the bells, the bells LOL
@@TankTurk LOL!
Cool, on to part 2!
Glad you liked it.
Good video
Thanks!

Thanks Greg. If you have any topics you would like me to include please let me know.
with the clearance values you use what filament are you using (pla, petg)?
I used PLA

I will see what it takes to do that for you. It won't be in part 2 as that's already done.

I do not but that is a good idea. I will look into it.
did you make this macro available already ready? how do i get it?
Which macro are you referring to?

Good catch, actually I forgot to reference it by name and it can be a problem if you have multiple files open with spreadsheets in them 😉
Es ka print kesy nikaly gy
Not sure what you want to print out?
Just a silly idea. I always start the spreadsheet name with "ss". That makes calling up the spreadsheet a one finger operation.
Great idea 💡
Great video, would like to make a longer comment but keeps getting deleted, so this is also a test.
