    I've seen the vases stamped to look like ceramic with what you used as the water as a gold embossed section. I've also seen them used in scrapbooking rather than card making which makes a lot more sense of the huge sizing!

    Nice that there are bigger stamps that can be used with watercolor markers. I like the bookmark idea - I have a ton of bristol board strips left over from making cards and am looking for ideas to turn them into book marks. Not sure watercolor is the way to go, but might have to try and play with them. TFS

    Great video on the markers, it helps because before we buy, we can be a bit more educated on the item. I personally am in love with vases and flowers, I have some ready to stamp but have been trying to Learn techniques, just like. What u have shown. Sandy, you the best. Keep on keeping on. Tfs. Hugs!

    Hi sandy. I loved these! Im a stamper and youre a watercolor artist! Those stamps work best when primed or cleaned first. ie: use a clear embossing ink pad first then stamp it or wipe it off. We get best results from paper other than cold press. Your results were beautiful. Wish i could play with them! Enjoy!

    I agree that the uneven water level is a bit annoying but it looked ok when you were finished. I think I have a solid vase stamp somewhere to try this technique. Love the idea of the brad for the ribbon on the bookmark too.

    What an interesting process! At the beginning it looked pretty dodgy, but in typical Sandy fashion you ended up with something beautiful. I have many Altenew stamps that could work for this, and I’m motivated to give it a try. Thank you.

    Love this technique! I think the second stamp is not water but a design on the vases. You said they look like stone. Maybe ceramic vases. They are beautiful!

    • @KathySparkle1
      @KathySparkle1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the second stamp is the shadow, I’m assuming, as I saw other artists using a darker color than the first stamp. So you’re right! Blessings.

    Love watching you experiment with new products and giving an honest & real review. Love the larger flowers & vases...Can't understand why yet another company feels we need more brush markers! Would like to understand just how large these flowers & vases are...they look like they need to be on a much larger size card base..

    These are so pretty. I'm going to order the vase stamps, because I never can seem to get those right doing free hand drawing. I love the way you finished the bookmarks with the brad and the ribbon, I will try that. Gives a nice professional finish. Do you ever laminate the bookmarks? or finish them in anyway?

    Love these. AI doesn’t really have anything modern or semi abstract like this. I wonder what they would look like if you used felt tip water based markers instead of the liquid ones. Would the ink still ball up?

    • @SandyAllnock1

      See the Instagram test, I used Tombow just like me AI projects.

  • @alanalendvay6131

    THESE ARE REALLY HARD. I'm trying my best to get the right amount of ink on them and what side is the right side of the stamp, but man-o-man they're NOT EASY! Any suggestions?
