  • Join me for my first time in Walmart - A British view of this great iconic supermarket (not sponsored) in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
! Is it cheaper than goods in the UK or in the USA? Please let me know in the comments below. Also please note that my conversion prices are just an estimate of the exchange and are right at the time of recording, but of course will fluctuate with the exchange rates. I just wanted to get a good idea of how cheap or expensive things are in Mexico compared to England.
Playa del Carmen is a Mexican city, head of the municipality of Solidaridad , Quintana Roo . It is within the tourist area called " Riviera Maya ". The city (located at coordinates 20.62° north and 87.07° west) is bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea and its main economic activity is tourism . 7 This comes hand in hand with the fact that a lot of employment is also generated in the construction industry, this is the second most important industry in the municipality.

The nintedo switch was $30 USD more expensive. Some of the other stuff seamed slightly cheaper than the U.S.
I found some things that are "Made In Mexico" that were cheaper to buy here in the U.S. than to buy them in Mexico.
Which doesn't make sense to me. If it costs money to import them I would think the price would increase.

Thank you for your comment, I was confused by pretty much the same thing, it seemed some goods cost more in Mexico, maybe the prices are just inflated? 😵
