This might be the first anime (or action show in general) I’ve seen where the characters plan to go on a quick stealth mission without fighting any villains and it actually works out that way

There's so much to unpack in these few episodes. The name Shigaraki Tomura vs Shimura Kenta and the meanings behind them (note, Japanese names have inherent meanings in how they're written). Also I can't explain because of spoilers but Twice and Toga are by far my favorite villains throughout this show.
My favorite types of arch-enemies are the ones that aren't just literally "hero but evil" but their abilities, personalities, and motivations are a direct foil and contrast to the hero's in usually the worst ways possible. Villains like the Joker, Lex Luthor, Green Goblin, and Doctor Doom exemplify this concept, and Horikoshi being the superhero weeb he is really understands this well, avoiding the usual manga rival trope of "villain is like the hero but evil" with All For One. While All-Might's abilities come from AFO, and AFO has a similar relationship to Shigaraki as All-Might has for Deku, that's pretty much where all the similarities end as they otherwise contrast each other starkly. Where most heroes look up to All-Might, most villains have no idea All For One exists. Where All-Might is a self-admittedly poor teacher and leader, All For One is a master manipulator and leads via charisma. All-Might is outwardly a handsome and strong hero in a colorful outfit hiding a fragile body, while All For One looks and acts monstrous inside and out despite outwardly wearing a rather unassuming business suit. All-Might's power comes from extreme training and accumulation of decades, perhaps a century, of development of previous One For All users that freely sacrifice their Quirks to another, whereas All For One's power (as his name suggests) forcibly takes away the Quirks of others as he utilizes and discards them freely without need for training or improvement, as he can always get another.
An unintentional bonus of watching Alicia watch this show: I did indeed miss the big reveal at the end; I believe it is stated explicitly next episode but the required name drops happened in _this_ one.
I'm glad they included the detail of Yaoyorozu holding Kirshima the way Ida held Todoroki and Deku. Never noticed that until now but it would have been very out of character for Krishima to be frozen in fear while Deku was ready to act.

Making bakugo do an explosions that launches him that high and that far means he could've just gotten away on his own whenever he wanted making dekus group being there pointless. In the manga bakugo only did a few small explosions upwards, but it still happened very low and he got picked up right in the mids of it. Legit, the only person better at strategizing on the fly than Deku in the class, if not the show, is Bakugou. The only difference is, Bakugou isn't shown doing it as much.
I think the perfect opportunity of showing us how much Bakugo thinks about strategy would have been after the fight vs Todoroki if they had given us a hint at Bakugo having something prepared for when Todoroki uses his flames. Would have made the possible outcome of the fight a lot more ambiguous aswell.

So many amazing moments in this episode. From the Bakugo rescue to All Might VS AFO to seeing Shigaraki break down. It was all wild. I just love Bakugo's moment of trusting Kirishima after all they've been through All For One teaching Shigaraki even during the middle of a battle shows that while he is still a villain, he is also a teacher. And he needs his successor to grow and bloom on his own. Into his own symbol of terror and destruction.

Alicia, not sure where you are in the series itself atm, but if you haven’t finished the All Might / AFO fight, you are going to need a nap afterwards. No spoilers, I just want you to be able to plan ahead.
I really dont like the governments rules they basically make it so even if your life is in danger from another person's quirk your just supposed to allow it and not try to defend yourself. Then they make a ranking for hero's because that wont casue problems between heros who should be more focused on protecting the people and keeping the peace then trying to gain popularity Stain definitely had a point. We even see later on how their are heroes who are double agents. Dont even get me started on the idiot who thought it would be a good idea to prop one hero over all others like they forgot that person can be killed or will die.
this is why stain is by far the better villain in the series. AFO and shigaraki suck in comparison to him.. AFO is literally just generic evil bad guy with ridiculous broken ability, the most cliche villain you can think of and shiga is just a petulant child throwing a tantrum
I'm sorry, but the fact that the kids needed Kirishima to call Bakugou because of the possibility of him refusing to help and to be helped in a death situation is nuts and *not* in the good way. ☠️
I feel like Asui is such a dumb character here in this episode set, comparing their acts to that of the villains is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Just cause it’s illegal doesn’t mean it’s wrong, when laws are unjust we have a duty as free thinking people to break them
Yes, but they as heroes are trained to uphold and protect laws. Furthermore, having laws to limit people running around as vigilantes is kind of a big deal when 80% of the population has a random superpower. That said, there are indeed times when even heroes must break laws. Knowing when to is the important part.

No he wasn't. He was about to use that air canon attack that he used earlier in the fight and against best jeanist.
Hope she's keeping a box of tissue beside her.
All Might punch go brrr
There are a lot of tornadoes in Oklahoma, too.
“We’re not in Oklahoma anymore”
I love this as always, your reactions always are so genuine.
Oh, boy. Buckle up boils and ghouls.. it's about to get bumpy.
The good guys are trauma babies but oh boy...when you see just 4 villain backstories, better get your tissues ready cos one might be just around the corner.
Definitely a top 10 episode of all time ❤
I don’t think she’ll be mentally and emotionally prepared for the next episode. I know we weren’t.
Alicia, not sure where you are in the series itself atm, but if you haven’t finished the All Might / AFO fight, you are going to need a nap afterwards. No spoilers, I just want you to be able to plan ahead.
There is just something special about the kamino arc and all might stand
Next episode is like, my second fav episode. My 1st is in season 4.
Oklahoma is in the middle of tornado alley.
oh. she didn't notice. I'm excited for next episode
Here’s the thing though couldn’t Bakugo have blasted off like that to begin with since he can kinda basically fly and no one else can?
The en va definitely killed it harder in this ep but this is still cool
this is what iv been wating for... for teo seasons hehehe oh man... this ones a feels punch.
Your babies saving babies
Next one is gonna be epic so be ready.
I don’t think she’s gonna be able to handle season 4 but we’ll find out soon
Nah, Shigaraki definitely qualifies as a baby. A _baaaaaaad,_ bad baby ;P
Great reaction! But the next one is the big one. Oh....i can't wait.
We're not in Kansas anymore, is the saying I believe
She's not ready for next episode...
Huzzah! Next episode is my favorite!
Shimura...
Is that the first or last name??
I feel like I've heard it in this show before...(Too bad I have a bad memeory)
The Wizard of Oz is not in Kansas?
I'm sorry, but the fact that the kids needed Kirishima to call Bakugou because of the possibility of him refusing to help and to be helped in a death situation is nuts and *not* in the good way. ☠️
Wizard of Oz. Kansis.
S tier anime episode coming up
The intros: i love them all
The media: I like the art but the story is kinda mid
I feel like Asui is such a dumb character here in this episode set, comparing their acts to that of the villains is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Just cause it’s illegal doesn’t mean it’s wrong, when laws are unjust we have a duty as free thinking people to break them
Yes, but they as heroes are trained to uphold and protect laws. Furthermore, having laws to limit people running around as vigilantes is kind of a big deal when 80% of the population has a random superpower.
That said, there are indeed times when even heroes must break laws. Knowing when to is the important part.
Is this AI reacting? if it is, its really good!
