About 50' by car from Methana, ancient Epidaurus is a beautiful seaside settlement that hosts the small theater of Epidaurus. Lygourio is home to one of the most famous archaeological sites in Greece. The Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, known for its excellent acoustics, still today hosts performances during the Epidaurus Summer Festival. The adjacent Sanctuary of Asclepius was one of the most important healing centers of ancient Greece and is a #UNESCO World Heritage Site.
