Do you know I am older than you Kirk? My mother passed away when I was 16 in a car accident and she loved God and she loved her Bible. My mother taught me to always read above the verse and below the verse, and sometimes the chapter before, very easy for somebody to take a verse out of context, people need to learn this. Thank you for the video.

Why are there so many Churches in the world today?
Why are there so many Bibles?
Jesus Christ Gave his all for us! He love us and gave us his Gospel!
If it is my Church then it called in my NAME “Jesus Christ”! +Ephesians 1:1 + Ephesians 2:19-20 “ Organization” +Psalm 50:5 + Psalm 149:1 “ Congregation of Saints” Add these verses up and what do you get? Is it one fold “congregation”, one Sheppard “Jesus Christ”?
Is religious organizations confusing? Why do we have so many Bibles, and churches?
In Revelations 22:18-19 have we opened the plagues unto the world by having so many Bibles and churches?
What about Revelations 22:22? How does it affect Ephesians 2:19-20, and us today?
Yes! The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the Earth! With Prophets and 12 Apostles, the members are called Saints!

Another reason for confusion when one reads the bible, is that the Old Testament is a picture book of something better to come for all, not just for the Israelites (a new covenant/a new arrangement/a new way/a new agreement). Most don't make this distinction, therefore there is much confusion. One way of looking at it, imagine tearing up a contract and re-writing a new contract with new terms.

That probably blows millions of Christians out of the water because everybody clings to verses in the Scriptures to get encouragement. And what he is saying here is that they could be sincere, but sincerely wrong. While his words are meant to be helpful and eye-opening, they could be very discouraging to a lot of Christians. Many people are not formally educated in the Scriptures, never having gone to Bible school.

It’s wrong to say there are no verses, he should be straight forward and say Don’t take a verse out of its context to learn from or to teach others. However, a single verse can be a personal answer (or maybe even a sign) from God when you are troubled. If you keep reading your Bible every day it will start talking to you. Memorize separate verses but remember they are messages to you.

According to the general consensus of scholarship *(even critical Christian scholars),* YHWH was originally incorporated into the Canaanite pantheon as a son of the Canaanite high god El before inheriting the top spot in the pantheon and El's wife Athirat (Asherah) before religious reforms. If you want to see if El is fictional, just read his mythology in the Ugaritic/Canaanite texts.
"When El was young, he came across two beautiful Goddesses washing their clothes in the Sea. They were Athirat (Asherah) and the Goddess Rahmaya, and, after buttering them up by cooking a meal for them, he asked them to choose between being his daughters or wives. They choose the latter and became the mothers of the Gods Shachar "Dawn" and Shalim "Dusk"."
"I should add here that it is very clear from the grammar that the noun nachalah in v. 9 should be translated “inheritance.” *Yahweh receives Israel as his “inheritance” (nachalah), just as the other sons of El received their nations as their inheritance (nachal, v. 8).* With this verb, especially in the Hiphil, the object is always what is being given as an inheritance. Thus, Israel is given to Yahweh as his inheritance. ((Here I’m indebted to Dan McClellan.)) It would make no sense for Elyon to give himself an inheritance. Moreover, as I’ve argued elsewhere, it is not just the Gentile nations that are divided up according to the number of the sons of El. It is all of humankind, i.e., “the sons of Adam.” This clearly includes Israel. And the sons of Adam are not divided up according to the number of the sons of El, plus one (i.e., plus Elyon). They are divided up, according to the text, solely according to the number of the sons of El. *Thus, that Yahweh receives Israel as his inheritance makes Yahweh one of the sons of El mentioned in v. 8. Any other construal of the text would constitute its rewriting."*

    • @gabepettinicchio7454
      @gabepettinicchio7454 ปีที่แล้ว

I disagree! As a Catholic, also, I see the Bible as being helpful, but not absolutely neccesary.
The Bible was promulgated as an aide or guide for the *Liturgy of the Mass* & not for worldwide distribution. The Church grew quickly for the 1st 350 yrs. without it, thanks to Sacred Tradition & Church Magisterium ... lead by the Holy Spirit. Without the printing press, each was copied by hand, taking 6 months to copy.
I love the Bible, and I am very happy to have several. I don't, however read it in order to form my own beliefs & doctrines, as all 40,000 differing Protestant sects do. I read it as believed by the CC who learned it, taught it, wrote it and produced it, to strengthen my knowledge & faith, as well as motivation & love for God!
So, a point can be made that the canon caused the Reformation & splintering of the one, true Church. Worse yet, at the same time the printing press was invented, so purcase & distribution became prominant. Of course, it's not the Bibles fault, but the personal & heretical interpretations of Luther and all his successors.
All my info can be verified in a reputable history book. Any Catholic history book, too, since all true knowledge of Christ comes from the CC. The problem is, most are not willing to do their own unbias research, out of pride, or fear! Their conscience must tell them ... *what you don't know, can't hurt you.* That is "willful ignorance" and a deadly sin! Why? ... Because you are denying yourself the "Truth!"*

@@gabepettinicchio7454 Context: love God with all of your heart, mind and soul.
Then he says.'And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
You cannot love and fear both.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath punishment. He that feareth, is not made perfect in love."
So Jesus never said we are to fear God if you believe the first one.

The scribes didn't have the intelligence, education, that we all have today. When they wrote the passages for the pharisees, for the Torah!

Every true Christian has been given the ability to love God and their neighbor just like Jesus said. Look at Romans 5:5. Before Jesus there’s no ability to do that. Christians are given the same love and Spirit that took Jesus Christ to the cross. If what I said isn’t true then you need to question if Jesus is real or if His God’s love is as powerful as Christians claim it is.
He is, it is and what I said is true. His Spirit and love in you are enough to do what He said. Love fulfills the law Romans 13:8. What did Jesus say? He came to fulfill the LAW and prophets Matthew 5:17. Every believer should walk even as He did 1 John 2:6. Did He love God and His neighbor as He said?
You want Revival? Teach people who He really is and remove the lie from your own mind that He’s not as powerful in you or that He was different because He’s Jesus and who am I? His flesh was flesh but His Spirit is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is God and if you submit to Him you will experience His glory flowing from deep inside.
Read all of His commands about loving and giving and forgiving and blessing and turning the other cheek. If you love Him you will obey Him by His own ability.
