Fantastic review on Vanquest Carbide 12. It is a great EDC bag. I think I'm gonna try the smaller version, Carbide 8 for go everywhere with you kind off bag.

My trident 32 and my ones 35 both became unusable in less than 2 years each. I put the blame on the surprisingly fragile 500D codura! All so they could save less than a pound of weight! So I'm out close to $600.00 so I switched from vanquest to alpaca witch uses much tougher matetials.!

One thing for me that is a no go is the id / brand tags they use. That tan Vanquish tag sticks out like a sore thumb on a good day. IMO whether you are doing the tacti-cool thing or just everyday general use, have the tags blend in or match the bag. At least get it close.

If you like the bag, you can always just cut off the tag. Not a huge deal.
