This is our Ultra (LVL 3) precision-focused recipe, utilizing the most advanced tools like the blind shaker, BOSe Electronic Tamper, paper filters, puck screen, and a pre-frozen espresso cup, combined with techniques such as RDT and single dosing frozen beans to achieve the ultimate espresso shot. Below, we’ll also explain the choice of tools and techniques we use and how they impact the final shot (See more 👇)
    ☕ About the Recipe:
This Ultra-Level Espresso method pushes the boundaries of espresso precision by incorporating advanced techniques and equipment to maximize clarity, consistency, and flavor. By extracting directly into a pre-frozen espresso cup, using paper filters and a puck screen, and leveraging chilled extraction, this approach results in an exceptionally smooth and refined shot.
    ☕ Ingredients:
Coffee beans: 16-18 grams (frozen, single-dosed)
    ⚙ Tools:
    Lelit Bianca Espresso Machine
Lelit William Grinder (or any high-quality espresso grinder)
    Freezer-compatible single-dosing container
Blind shaker (for even distribution of frozen grounds)
Spray bottle (for RDT, reducing static)
    Portafilter funnel (for clean dosing)
    Knock drawer or knockbox drawer
Puck screen (for improved water distribution)
Two paper filters (one for the bottom, one for the top of the puck)
    Electrical tamper (for ultra-consistent pressure)
Pre-frozen espresso cup (for chilled extraction)
👇 Instructions (Play the video and follow along in real-time):
1⃣ Prepare the Frozen Beans & Grinder
    1. Single Dose & RDT: Take 16-18 grams of frozen beans directly from the freezer-compatible single-dosing container and lightly mist them with RDT (Ross Droplet Technique) to minimize static.
    2. Grind: Grind finely into the blind shaker for even distribution.
2⃣ Prepare the Portafilter & Puck
    1. Transfer & Distribute: Pour the grounds into the portafilter using the portafilter funnel to prevent mess.
    2. Paper Filter Bottom: Place a paper filter at the bottom of the basket before adding the coffee.
    3. Shake & Settle: Shake the portafilter lightly to settle the grounds before leveling.
    4. Tamp with Electrical Tamper: Use an electrical tamper for perfectly even and repeatable pressure.
    5. Paper Filter & Puck Screen: Place a second paper filter on top of the coffee puck, followed by a puck screen.
    3⃣ Extract the Espresso
    1. Chilled Extraction: Lock the portafilter into the group head and place a pre-frozen espresso cup under the spout.
    2. Extract: Start the shot and aim for 30-40 grams of espresso (about 25-35 seconds), ensuring a smooth, chilled espresso extraction.
    4⃣ Serve & Enjoy
    1. Observe the Clarity: The paper filters and puck screens help create an ultra-clean shot with refined flavors.
    2. Sip Slowly: Enjoy the espresso as it gradually warms, allowing you to experience its evolving flavors.
    5⃣ Clean Up
    1. Knock Out & Rinse: Remove the puck, clean the portafilter, and rinse the group head.
    2. Dry & Store: Wipe down all tools and place frozen beans back in the freezer for the next use.
