He's best known for The Art of Non-Conformity blog and book.
He has also written guides for travel and small business topics under the brand Unconventional Guides.

1. #Believe in your dream
He's a graduate of University of Washington and of Athens State University.
2. Find your thing
He volunteered with Mercy Ships, a medical charity, in West Africa from 2002-2006.
3. Live a fulfilled life
He spent years working to travel to every country in the world by age 35.
4. Don't live with regret
On April 4, 2013, he visited the final country in his journey to visit all 193 countries.
5. Align your passions with others
He published The Art of Non-Conformity following the success of the blog.
6. Craft around your aspirations
From September 2010 to January 2011, he stopped in 63 cities from among every US state and Canadian province to promote the book.
7. Don't niche yourself
His second book, The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future, was released in 2012.
8. Connect with like-minded people
He released his third book, The Happiness of Pursuit, on September 9, 2014.
9. Set goals
He also maintains a blog at Anderson Cooper 360, and has written for Business Week.
10. Find joy, money, and flow
His writing has been an influencing factor in launching the careers of other known bloggers.

Out of all his eleven I liked to hear 7. Don't niche yourself. When I first heard of the "NEED" to find your niche I panicked because i am not built like that. I have many ways that I make a living and I am now learning how to "THEME" my works. Thanks for this video. Im also planning to add his books to my kindle library.

I know people who constantly quit and they never build anything. They stop when they hit rough patches, AKA hard work and few results to show for it, and go off to next shiny object. Not a good way to make anything good happen. Of course, if something is proven wrong then it's good to abandon ship, but I don't think that's as big of a problem as people giving up too early.

#11 Winners quit...if something isn't working, stop doing it. For me, it takes the sting out of failure or quitting. Instead now you're just making sure your resources are being used in the best manner...and that makes sense. #BTA1

ur work is tremendously valuable for person like me, I belong to such a remote areas of the world, although currently in city for my degree, but after finishing this I will be going back to serve my tribe,
so I try to remember, every interview as much as possible, but 3000 + ideas from 300+ people is huge, so I classified those top ten rules as politicians, musicians, author, performance coach, businessman, Internet entrepreneur, and tried to find out the patterns, and I am so excited to see they all are results of their thinking pattern, suppose., lary page say solve big problem, no afraid, sees dream in a diferent perspective , arnold says targeted work and aim for size, and APJ indian president thinks like mind and training the young mind, nelson Mandela respect and country to country relationship dynamics, hillary Clinton thinks diffuse like female brain does, trump says never give up, shoukd be street smart, etc etc, steve job thinks like marketing, stve bosniak says product development for yourself, musician shouts and use offensive languages which other dont use, performance coach videos are very lengthy hard to keep attention for such long time it hypnotise mind, jim carry speech are gold, authors dont reads from the page, they just speaks, most, other profession reads from pages, businessman thinks money and expansion of market.
