Your voice has always been lovely to listen to Springbok. Yet your story-telling voice is, well, indescribable. Mesmerizing doesn't go near enough to convey how much it rivets the attention of a listener. I'm sure others have told you before, but yours is a voice that people would pay to listen to, such as in an audio-book.

Ho gosh, love this story! I was a big fan of Roald Dahl when I was young, I remember reading all his scary stories alone in my bed, It scared me out! aha But with your voice and many years later, it's so relaxing :-)
I really loved this allot! Please do more reading and role-plays. You picked out an amazing story (I had never heard it) and had an amazing commentary. You were so right when you said he knows how to end it, just at the right time.
Just came across your page and decided I needed to watch this video first. Perfect!! I absolutely loved it! I adore the way you read and this story is wonderfully creepy. The crackling sound effects of the fire added to the whole experience perfectly and nothing took away from the ASMR experience. If anything I think it made it better! Scary/ghost stories have always had an ASMR-like effect on me :-) This should definitely be a regular on your channel: campfire stories. Thanks for making it!

I can't even begin to express the happiness this video brought me. Everything, from your timing to your tone of voice, was perfect. Most softly spoken short story videos on TH-cam have a problem with volume levels and enthusiasm, but this was absolutely amazing. I truly hope you decide to do more of these, I would LOVE if you did one of "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Just a thought. ;) Keep up the amazing work.
