FINALLY an Aussie who produces quality content AND reviews both Australian products that you can pick up at Super Cheap as well as some of the big name stuff from overseas, like AMMO, that we can't easily get here. Subscribed. Thanks heaps for the videos!
bowden has so many products that acomplish the same goal with different methods like, bead machine, after glow and happy ending. but no one has done a comparison of them showing what one works the best and lasts the longest.
Used the afterglow for the first time today must say very impressed easy to put on my car looks like l just picked it up when it was brand new just need to see if it last like they say it does
Great Video mate keep up the great work with these videos. I am certainly going to try this Afterglow way of drying my car this weekend. Rather then just using Boss Gloss and the Big Green Sucker. I have also just noticed that you are a member on Bowdens Facebook Group.
Thanks heaps for the great feedback! Haha yeah I've been apart of that page for a bit now. Keeps me up to date with all that's going on. Always good seeing other people work on their pride and joys too
FocusOnDetailing totally agree I use their great gear on my VF Commodore SV6 and she shines all the time :-) have also just liked your Facebook Page aswell.
The only products i use are those which have testing results posted on various web pages, like those detailing u tube channels which use a gloss or clear coat reflection values by using a good quality machine and then test the areas before use and then after the products were used, theres only two u tube channels, one is AMMO NYC and the other is Car Craft Auto Detailing in australia, he is the only one who has done a real down to earth review of all the main professional car detailing products full stop ? Also your right hand headlight, take off the globe backing cover and put a hairdryer nozzle in it that will get most of the water out and then take the front lens off and replace the sealant, its cheaper than buying a new headlight cheers :)
I use my petrol backpack blower to dry my car, then just touch up a few remaining drips with the green sucker cloth. The less contact and rubbing cloths over the car the better.
Great video once again had to laugh at that cheeky Merc with the AMMO decal on it. Have been using the Bowden's range on my Fg black ute with great results.
Thanks man! Haha yeah that's my Dad's car, he has a bit of an AMMO product collection that he likes using. Bowden's Own has really been becoming quite popular lately which is good to see!
Great vid Tim, Thanks. I noticed not one ding in the doors, Looks like you are super fussy like me and get them rolled out LOL. Agree, Waxit have great stuff too. I use Scholl Concept #3 then Collonite 436, between this I used to use Boss Gloss but now After Glow, great product and easy to use.
perfect timing! I am a bowden’s own user and have yet to try the after glow. Just ordered it yesterday to test on the xr8, and was waiting on a video for this done by you! Thanks mate, top job!
It is easy to apply and that's the best th hing about it as for the result its certainly not what I would want to use before going to any form of car show but if you are looking for a day to day protectant than it's very good but is it worth the money? Well imo only when it's on special
(Unless I've been using it wrong), just beware folks that if you don't buff it off straight away it's REALLY hard to buff off after! So make sure you do it a section at a time. I found out the hard way!
That's a tough one! I used Fully Slick more often but I believe (big statement here) Afterglow is more popular and also has superior dust repelling abilities
After Glow gives the amazing shine. Fully sick is more to boost & build extra paint protection between waxing. Bowdens own does demos around Australia and has heaps of onlince "how to" and what they're for videos. Personally I use a mix of BO, AutoGlym and Mother's.
Kailem Jones AG will give you better and longer protection, is used to dry the car and will give great depth to dark colours. Fully slick is a great for lighter colours and I have used it as a sealant over Carnauba wax. I also use it on wheels.
FocusOnDetailing yeah man check it out! U will get more subs i reckon its a great page for all things bowdens and for car enthusiast. Hey u reckon u can make a videos of a severe paint correction
Having more subs would never hurt haha. I've been wanting to create a video like that but unfortunately if I do get a car in for correction work I usually don't have time to film but I'll do my best to work something out. Cheers
Thumbs up for the video however it's a bit Limited, would have rather seen some footage of using it in the sun and using some different low grade microfibers to see if you really have to invest in their towels. Also audio needs some work, volume mix between music and voice over is not matched very well and when your talking it's a tad echoed. Still enjoyed it tho. Cheers
I'm getting confused on when to use these "after wash" products. There is Boss gloss, after glow and easy wax? I have a new car and not a lot of time. Which should i use after the final wash and rinse to keep the new car protected until the next wash?
You're not wrong, it's a pretty decent price for the product but for others they may not have the other stuff needed such as the microfiber towels it can add up quickly

Subscribed. Thanks heaps for the videos!
Yeah, THANKS for the decent Aussie reviews - I subbed too :-) What settings do you have your snow job cannon on? Full clockwise, 3/4, half-way, etc?
Could you please explain the difference between, Wet dream, After glow, Happy ending and Fully slick. They all seem pretty much the same.
Try reading the dang bottle lol
@@spaghetti941 I would have never thought of that. Thanks man
Its also supposed to be their hardest wearing synthetic protectant as well so it works great on protecting wax coatings making them last longer.
Love your videos Tim. I have learnt a lot about car detailing during lockdown
I just give mine a quick wipe with Bowden's Boss Gloss after it's dry....$23 as opposed to $30. Leaves a good shine in between polish/waxes.

I thought snow job was meant to be applied on dry paint?

Awesome stuff mate! I think you'll really like it! Let me know how you go. Thanks for the comment
FocusOnDetailing finally tested it out after a snow job, and nanolicious wash... awesome results! and would definitely recommend to others.
What's the difference between afterglow and boss gloss ?
How often would you use lazy wax and fully slick
It is easy to apply and that's the best th hing about it as for the result its certainly not what I would want to use before going to any form of car show but if you are looking for a day to day protectant than it's very good but is it worth the money? Well imo only when it's on special
Do u have to dampen the cloth before using it
(Unless I've been using it wrong), just beware folks that if you don't buff it off straight away it's REALLY hard to buff off after!
So make sure you do it a section at a time.
I found out the hard way!
cheers bro - subbed - always down to support a fellow Aussie !
Afterglow or Fully Slick??? Which one has the best shine
That's a tough one! I used Fully Slick more often but I believe (big statement here) Afterglow is more popular and also has superior dust repelling abilities

Have you tryed Juice Polishes Super C Cutting Compound or the Speed Wax ????
Can't say I have mate but I'll definitely check it out :)
Autosmart products re-bottled
Nice review. I bought some to test out myself. Have you tried any CARLACK 68 products?
I find these two cloth product applications tedious. Just dry normally and apply fully slick or spray happy ending and dry
What is the name of the vehicle?
It was a 2007 Ford BF XR6 ute
Hey good to see your doing more bowdens videos love bowdens! Are u a member of the bowdens own detailers fb page!?
Hey mate! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm not actually apart of that group but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the comment!

afterglow is their best protectant/drying tool by a long way. boss gloss is okay but offers no protection.
@@matt.gatehouse what about Fully Slick?
@@JimboJones99 www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/layering-and-order-of-use-of-our-protective-produc/
Good video and presentation.
$30 for afterglow dont think it that expensive
