I entered this serial number on bose webiste, it recognised it as bose sound link mini2. How is that possible ?

They just copy the serial number from an original one, I bet most of the serial on the clone will have the same serial number

I can confirm that this is a fake( bought one but lucky to get a refund), a very convincing one at that. The easiest way to check is when connect to a phone, the voice will always say"connected to administer phone" while the original one will say the name of your phone instead.
Sound quality wise it's good but won't get as loud as the original one and not as bassy.

Its crazy how long the mini 2 has been out and bose cant make something better. The flex is ok, only good for outdoors but the mini 2 beats it in every way. Price is ridiculous too, been out for soo long, price went down a little then went back right up

aren't the pins on the battery dock supposed to be spring activated instead of looking rigid as in your video? I am surprised you didn't even mentioned about about the decals & info underneath the speaker which clearly doesn't seem to look like the original bose soundlink mini 2.. it's clearly a fake you have there...

I also ordered a fake bose sound link mini. It even had an fm radio mode. First upon connecting it, I noticed that it doesn't have the smooth sophisticated voice prompts of an original bose sound sound link. I was fooled. The sound is no ways as good.

Made in mexico tells me its a fake. Bose is either made in korea, Malesia, indonesia, vietnam. never seen any made in mexico or china
