I will be going in for my 36th cycle of chemo this week, for a cancer that can't be cured... I have a seven year old daughter so I have to stay as positive as possible.

I was having a terrible day today, feeling so depressed about my life. Trying to distract myself from being old and living in a tent, this video came up. Normally I would avoid anything that might make me feel more sad but I choose to watch. I want to thank you for helping me open my eyes again and feel good again. You are blessed and loved and you and your parents will be together again. Y'all are a special family💕

Such a wonderful son. His message should be shared around the world. People may not understand why I would choose to watch a video of someone whose life is ending. Although it is sad for me it is a means to appreciate what I have. He was truly a loving man.
What a beautiful family. I want to live like they do. Not to judge and to be patient and understanding. Thank you Dexter for teaching a 51 year old lady some serious lessons on compassion and respect. I’m so moved by a 5 minute vlog that has had a massive impact on me. X

I have no idea how I landed here, from Canada, mom of 5 adults, BUT Dexter's parents raised an amazing man. God bless him in heaven, and his parents on earth ! This was so heartbreaking.

We all regret not spending more time with our parents when we had a chance. My parents are gone now and I would give all that I have for just one more day with them. Dexter is very wise for a young man. He obviously has wonderful loving parents. I'm grateful for the parents I had. I pray for all the people who were unloved or abused. I paused the video and couldn't continue . I knew it was going to be heart wrenching after reading all the messages. This brought back lovely memory almost 30 years ago - my grandma was smiling and enjoying herself on a wheelchair . She was wearing a novelty colourful hat, clapping at a Christmas party that was organised and being served by the great peoples - staffs and volunteers at Assisi . I think her last Christmas was the happiest of all that she had attended .
