I also have a dragon character! He is a draconic, a dragon that can change shape into a human. In my lore dragons are seen as monsters and are hunted and killed, but draconics just want to live in peace. Hunters also don't care if a human befriends a dragon, they have no mercy in killing innocents who defend and even love dragons. Sometimes they just spare children to set an example not to join dragons. These hunters don't see dragons as people, just monsters.
