I must say this as a Turkish person, we don't like our food being compared to the Greece. You can compare them to any other country but Greece is our red line. I'm fine with it but others might not and if you'd come here an say "This tastes similiar to what i've eaten in Greek restaurant" people will jump on you, literally. The whole thing started when the Greeks tried to claim Baklava or any dessert that had a syrup in it and Yoghurt's copyrights (which unfortunately they won, so it's called Greek Yoghurt) but little they did know Baklava was copyrighted years before and this stupid ass dispute we had with their people made the whole process worse. Then Greece became a whole joke and a meme in our country, no lies. One of our artist made a bad music video?We'd say; Nice Greek Song 🇬🇷 Love from Turkey 💝 etc. And it still live to this date. Search for an embrassing Turkish video and look at the comments, you will most likely going to find the exact sentence lol. End note: Greece hates us, we hate them 🥰

We have turkey in turkey but we say it hindi which means india
