That is a wonderful film, I'm pretty amazed. The testing demonstrations were revealing along with the "cut-aways" where you exposed them buried. The invention process is exciting, particularly how the design evolved to reach new demand. What a clever solution you came up with, and to show the manufacturing standards and the testing sure would provide some piece-of-mind. I'll admit as a racer, I did not love the bar due to windage, weight, and appearing aesthetically clunky. but if the alternative version works "almost as well" I'm sold.
Watched a video from Sailing Uma where Dan used a Rocna as the primary anchor to weather hurricane Matthew in Haiti 4 years ago. His boat held fast and every one else around dragged all over the place. Great product!
Just wanted you to know after watching your video ,I’ve brought one of your anchors .....mainly because of the of the speed in which you claim the anchor sets .
Moved from a 75 pound cqr to the Rocna 40 (88lb) on our 63' viking after watching our boat drag from another boat and enduring a sleepless night after that. The Rocna is an absolute bear, stops all 70,000 pounds nearly instantaneously during sets and will spin the windlass if you've got too much speed on. Fits well on the bow pulpit too quite happy with it.
Excellent presentation. I would like to see the same high level engineering in a double anchor delivery/retrieval system. We always see one anchor in the promo videos, but in real life you need two.
Can you or have you made a video about your Fisherman variant in particular fixing chain to the Shackle rail ? ,can I fit a swivelling Assisfonf 316 8 mm to it as it looks very tight ?
Nice one. What a story...a clever kiwi guy , from his experience now we have the best anchor in the world. Well done mate, just buying one this week
Best anchor. Holds in the strongest gales. Piece of mind is priceless. Tried them all. Rocna rocks

The holding power was FENONEMAL

I just picked up the 44lb for our 36 Westerly Corsair Pirate King sailboat. Think that’s the right size?
I LOVE my Rocna!
Never has dragged once in 10 years.

How do you retrieve such a deep sinking anchor
Phenonenal
looks great, just ordered Vulcan-12 for my new soler-35
+Alexander E Morozov Hi Alexander, how does it go with your anchor? I've ordered the same anchor, and I will try it in a few months...
Hi, the anchor Vulcan 12 works well, good holding, I am glad with it.
Should have taken Vulcan-20 in my opinion.
How does it hold on rocks and weed?
I have the same Tiara yacht as shown in the film (3500 express), do you suggest/show/use the 27 or 33 for this boat?
Always oversize your anchor.
