It's time to say goodbye to our exploration of the Northern Frontiers of Kenya with a visit to one of the best animal sanctuaries we've ever been to!
We first spent the night wild camping near Mount O'lolokwe before the early morning drive up to Namunyak Conservancy and the amazing Reteti Elephant Sanctuary where we spent time learning about the wonderful conservation efforts they do, and of course interacting with cute baby elephants!
After an awesome day it was time for the long drive back to Nairobi and a flight to our home on the coast.

Yea - we run into that often. Interesting that you were able to interact a little with the baby elephants. Didn't think that was possible from their web site. Hope to be there next October.
We were very lucky as this was during Covid and they had no guests so we just got a rare opportunity 😊
