Maybe the Cerave products is not agreeing with your skin .. I know other people whose skin doesn't like that brand if u still have a lot just finish it up on your body and just use water to cleaner your face for a few days or one of your very bacis moisturizer cleaners and switch to maybe Cetaphil gently SA cleanser or the other brand she is showing or Neutrogena or Avenoo , or any other brand vichy makes a 0.5 % SA cleanser or maybe your skin doesn't like SA maybe try benzoyl peroxide cleanser Example; Panoxyl 4% Try using it every other day to begin with once a day .. Wash your face for no less than a minute and maybe a couple days a week leave the product on for 3 - 5 minute before u rinse.. and make sure u are wearing your SPF 30 or higher in the day
salicylic acid is anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, and a keratolytic that opens clogged pores. it works against pimples in 3 ways, so unless you have severe acne vulgaris, salicylic acid is a great (and permanent) way to keep your skin clear.

You know she wifey material when she has Still D.R.E playing in the background
My acne prone dry sensitive skin didn't like SA at all.
For some reason I've tried multiple different SA cleansers my whole life consistently but it has never helped as much. I've switched to Benzoyl Peroxide cleansers and so far it's doing me justice
Yes! So salicylic acid is meant for just whiteheads and blackheads whereas benzoyl peroxide is meant for stubborn inflamed acne. I suffer from hormonal cystic acne and I never saw any results from salicylic acid but since I started using benzoyl peroxide my skin is pretty much clear.
@@samanthabrittain8680 you see that's the weirdest part for me tho! Like I've been struggling with closed comedomes and whiteheads for the Longest time in my life and SA has not done much for me :/ I don't have any cystic acne tho or inflamed ones
Hmm maybe you need it as leave on like toner or gel
@@sharekpain9303 Try retinol or azelaic acid.
Gangsta 😂
I know right 😊 ❤ it
After facial wash with salicylic acid can use retinol serum?
Yes at nights
if you don't have ance issues and if you have mature skin Vichy have a SA wash with 0.5 % ..
If u find the 2 % sometimes a bit dying along with your retinol
U can switch it up sometimes
No, it’s not recommended. Use a gentle non-exfoliating cleanser before retinol
