Just finished the biography Gold Dust Woman and they go into great detail on her visiting the troops. She bought ipods filled with all her favorite songs and gave them to the troops when she visited them. She gave them all away and then Steven Tyler and Joe Perry donated $10K to buy more when she ran out. That is just total class. I love her generosity and compassion for others.

I couldn’t imagine the hope and joy that brings soldiers, knowing this world famous artist makes it point to take time out of her busy life to come see me and my buddies just to make sure they have some hope and joy.
