Since your last video I commented on I finally got my ZX4RR Anniversary, and I've been learning to ride it in the Appalachian mountains (I live in a secluded area like this, thankfully). It is the most fun I've had in a very long time. Learning how far to lean and which gears to be in on the twisty bits is enthralling. I'm absolutely in love with this bike and so happy I got it. I really want to get the AT2 at some point, but I just picked up the Yoshimura tail tidy, Kawasaki radiator guard, and some frame slider, just in case. The way this bike sounds and rides is absolutely intoxicating. I see people online arguing that its not the best value for money, but for me its exactly what I wanted.
@@Hondasaki_Frank I'm thinking about buying one for myself. Where I live, Portugal, they come with 80 horsepower, I heard that in the United States they come with a limitation, is that true? Do you feel that the bike is disapointing at low rpms? Not looking for any cons to be honest, im preety much sold on this beauty just want to hear your opinion as a owner. Safe Rides!
@@stoneyjohnny9018 In the US they are restricted to about 55hp. I think I will flash the ECU next year to unlock the rest of the power, but even in its stock form this is such a fun bike. At lower revs the power is reasonable for normal riding, but when it's time to overtake a car you'll want to be above 10,000 rpms. I highly recommend the ZX-4.
You're a very lucky man Frank. I wish I had those kind of twisty roads in my area, all I have is dead straight roads.😢 I now live in Southern Ontario Canada but before that I used to live in riding Nirvana, Southern California which has so many twisty, Mountain Canyon roads you could ride a different road every day of the month. Enjoy.
Coming from an 07 R6 I am wanting to get one of these bikes. I wonder how they compare lean angle wise. Most fun I had on my R6 was on twisties and the lovely sound, I dont care much for speed more so handling on a light weight bike. I may get both and compare myself.
I've never ridden an R6 so I can't say how the handling would compare between them. However, this ZX-4 is so nimble and easy to ride through the corners. It's a blast!
This video kinda like a therapy for me, the roads, the bike, the sound... I love it
@@SoleKnight Thanks! That's exactly why I make these videos.

That's awesome! I feel the same way, this is the most fun motorcycle that I've ever owned.
Same here, got the same bike a couple weeks ago. In the same general area as you all with my first trip to DC under my belt (no highway yet)
It's great to see others on their ZX4RR's. I've had mine for about 8 months and still love to ride it almost every day.
Very nice 👍🏻 Going to buy my zx4rr next week🥰
Great video!
That’s one good looking and great sounding motorcycle you got there. Enjoy it brother
Thanks! It's a lot of fun!

Thanks! West Virginia is great for riding. I like it here.
New sub!
Thanks!

Great video, but I have to point out that mic sounds muffled
Yeah, I just got a new audio recorder, and I'm still working on getting the settings dialed in.
is the ecu flashed/unlocked?
@knievel8727 Not yet. I didn't want to void the warranty, so I will flash it after it expires. Even with the stock tune, it's a very fun bike.
sounds great. assuming no baffle?
Correct. The Yoshimura didn't come with one.
Tremendous road. Are there a lot of cops in the area? You were barely giving it any
This is out in the middle of nowhere. Very few cops, very little traffic.
@@Hondasaki_Frank nice one mate. The road still looked a little icey at times. Looos like you were having trouble getting temperature into the tyres 👍
