Andrew cherish every time you have with your Dad, I lost my dad when I was just ten. (he died in a military accident) When I see you and your dad working together it makes me think how great my life was when I still had him. You’re wonderful family reminds me of when my dad was with us, thank you so much for bringing back such sweet memories!

Every time I see a loose calf or chickens running around where you'd think they don't belong it makes me laugh. I'd love to see how these calves are getting out of the pens. I'm sure there's even more hilarity there.
I'm always impressed when you guys pull machinery apart and fix it. When I lived in Virginia Beach, there was a great mechanic who could fix things a lot cheaper than most people because he had a 6th sense about what was wrong with a part and most of the time could fix it himself. I miss that. I don't miss living directly under one of the touch an go flight paths at Oceana though.
Hey sir.... a couple of requests for ya to consider.... 1: Could you explain a bit more about how and why you raise cattle? Is it for the family's personal consumption? Do you sell the calves for others to finish or do you sell for slaughter. and 2: I know that the channel is named the Veggie Boys but the gals do just as much work so how about featuring the girls a little bit more every now and then.

Callie can help clear off the lower shelves while Lauren works on the higher ones. She may be small enough still to fit through the new chicken door. I don't know why you are concerned when a calf figures out how to escape the barriers. It's not running away and that shows the animal is smarter than the rest.

Glad you enlarged the coup! They looked cramped! Do you ever power wash (with bleach) inside the animal areas? Esp with bird flu on the rise. Seems like good idea. Just wondering. Exciting that it is almost growing time again! ❤

I heard a calf cough @ 2:58 and @ 3:46. I'm sure you guys are on it, it could be pneumonia. I use Noromycin 300 for the first shot and if that doesn't work I give them some Nuflor.

Is it possible to add some sort of material over the air intake to prevent mulch from entering the air blowers engine? It is much easier to clean and cheaper to replace than the motor.

Karen, we’ve had our share of shortages here in the US, and I live in one of the agricultural states! But wouldn’t it be a blessing to be able to shop at the Ochs market? Running a petroleum based lube on your blowers is just a magnet for dust, people on a better pay grade than me recommend a silicon based spray

I believe you have a Sanitaire, right? They are pretty easy to fix. They are a direct air machine, and the fans and belts are quite easily replaceable.

Chickens ?? Them animals are flammable hope you have a water sprinkler system set up in case of fire.. and have good IN Surance.. Also chickens are a plane magnet. Planes love crashing into chicken farms and food producing warehouses.. keep your farm safe 👍

I’ve found a handful of spuds who come back 4 years in a row. When I started the Huegle something ( logs then branches then soil then straw then food scraps then soil then fertiliser then soil plant seeds). Well my veggies food scraps had potatoes peel in it. 10 free meals for 6 ranging from potato salad, mash, soup, fried with bacon and onions and boiled. The seeds I planted were 3 varieties of salads, radishes, oregano, basil and capsicum. The capsicum failed. Nearly all seeds were a success but the potatoes just kept on giving.
My veggie patch has just been dismantled 😥 The upkeep is too much for me now. Thank goodness for your channel. I love watching you all. The hard work, love and joy you Andrew show the world how farming is done. Thank you and I hope that this years crop is as bountiful as last year. 👏👍🌽🥦🥕🥬🥒🌶️🫑🍆🍅🍠🥔🧅🧄

Does Grammie ever make gluten free items. A loaf of bread cost $7 here and my gran son needs gluten free .?.costly so I’m trying to make up some and put in the freezer to have for him.
