    Love the how to! Perfect for getting mine installed on my 95 2 door XJ! Can’t wait to finish putting the radiator support back in and adding coolant! 😁😎

      Likewise. Try a high flow water pump. The increased volume of this radiator causes a pressure drop and won’t cool better with a stock water pump.

      Have you tried doing a coolant flush and purging air out of your system

    Looks like a great option for when doing a V8 swap.

    Is that a Deep Amethyst colored Jeep? Nice color, you don't see too many of those around.

    My xj is a manual transmission. Do this radiator comes with plugs to cover the transmission line port.

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It does not, however, plugs are not necessary.

      @@mishimotoI just purchased my radiator for my xj. To clarify I won’t need to get plugs if my xj is a manual? Please explain how

      @davidcatalina6029 The ATF side and coolant side are separate, so plugging it will only seal the ATF-side from outside air.

      I called 1.877.GOMISHI
      and the sales rep said it would fit perfectly. Should I not get it ??

      Yes. The front clip/radiator are identical to the XJ. It would be a good idea to convert to the open system though.

    All this great manufacturing and information and you guys have the lightbar on the hood. Losing like 75% of your photons there pal :(

      Hey, bung cheese. All vehicles featured in our installation guides are provided to us by generous customers. While that position may not be ideal, we were only granted permission for the radiator install :).

      This is something that the owner of the jeep felt was needed when taking the jeep off-road.
