Codemakers: Vijay Iyer, Hyeyung Sol Yoon, Texu Kim

Post-performance discussion with composer-musicians Vijay Iyer, Hyeyung Sol Yoon, and Texu Kim. Program presented on Sunday, April 23, 2023 by the Fine Arts Center's Asian and Asian American Arts and Culture Program in conjunction with the UMass Amherst Bach Festival and Symposium, April 21-23, 2023.
Program included world premiere performances of "Convivio", composed by Texu Kim and performed by Hyeyung Sol Yoon, and "Plinth for B.N. Ambedkar", composed and performed by Vijay Iyer. The two movements of "Convivio" were integrated with the adagio and fugue from J.S. Bach's violin sonata in C major, BWV 1005.
