Arbortec Kayo - quick review after second days use

Going from previously having many pairs of meindl air streams until they removed vibram soles from their boots (totally rubbish tread that wears down too quickly).
My last pair of boots I just went through in 1 year were the Pfanner boa. I loved the Boa lace system but the boots were clumpy and not suited for tree climbing (don’t think they were advertised to be). They have 3 big worn through holes were the stitching failed - predominantly from the climbing, which is obvious on my leading foot. They were also too warm snd very sweaty.
I decided to get the arbortec kayos as of their statement that they were designed for arb. Except for having to tie laces and they are pretty tricky to get in and out of.. first impressions are very good!
I will do an updated review after a good bit of wearing. Probably mid winter after some heavy climbing and adverse weather abuse! Let’s hope they hold up!
