This isn't me flaunting, I have uploaded this video to entertain the curious and for the love of Charvel guitars (not sponsored in any way) and guitar geekdom. I am well aware of the terrible situation the world is in right now as a result of the coronavirus and economic turmoil all over the globe - we have our own troubles to face and have lost a family member due to the virus, my family is out of work like millions of others.

He had one a few months ago that he raved about.
Early '90s XL series Charvels may have been the best ever made. They were made to be a budget import of the American Jacksons but stood up to them and in some cases surpassed them imo.
I got a rare red crackle design think it’s a 170 1991 the neck says 89 Duncan design looks it’s age but still not bad best offer hit me up for pics

Hey Cameron, I'm thinking of buying a Charvel guitar, however I've seen a lot of reviews where these guitars suffer from fret sprout. Have you run into similar issues?
Never once had fret sprout issues
Respect for the humility at the opening. There are always those more financially fortunate and those less, and sharing one's hobby doesn't inherently presume either to brag or laud on the one hand nor come across as deprived and unfair on the other. Nice collection, congratulations and whether an individual as one or one hundred guitars, enjoy their uniqueness and the joy they can bring!
Great collection Cam. I know some people were criticizing you in previous videos for showing off new guitars right now. Could be people are sensitive given the current world situation. Anyone who has followed you for a while knows you've built up your collection and reputation over years and it's all well deserved. You're not just a collector but also a player! Thanks for all your videos over the years, I've learned a lot and been entertained along the way 🤘
Chris T people are terrible. I haven’t gotten anything new in the last few months but I’ll happily continue to share what I have via videos and people think that’s showing off then nothing is going to make them happy anyway

Let’s be honest the reason you got so good is the fact that Yoda back there teaching you the ways of the force lol. I’ve had many guitars and my Charvel I owned was always my favorite. Sold it years back and have regretted it ever since. It was a paint job they called desert crackle emg loaded. Great playing as always.

Hey man I just got my Charvel Satchel model (green black tiger) signed by him at a show in NH (the states) September 2021 I couldn’t believe it I just dressed in make up, spandex, a wig and it worked he seen me back stage and came to me to sign it and someone took a pic of me holding it while he signed it I’m about to get it printed it’s a super dope photo

I like the Japan charvel best just a no thrills guitar plus i prefer the non recessed floyd rose. Also like how for pretty much the same money as the mexican charvel the Japanese ones came with a hard case. Fender/charvel get ur act together at least through in a gig bag the prs se line all come with nice gig bags.. the dk 24 in canada is like 1299 plus 13% tax, really no gig bag thats fender usa performer series money.
Anyway id play anyone of them, they all look and sound great.

Nice collection! I've got a 1996 Charvel Surfcaster in black/pearloid pickguard. It's the first year of the "C" hardtail and full solidbody. I also just bought a 23' Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal style-2 HT in Robin's Egg Blue. I love them both and and in "honeymoon" period with my new one. I liked your review on the Black Ash version of the Style-2 I bought. It helped me choose mine, thanks.

Nice collection. I really liked the candy blue and the purple one at end. The white and champagne ones sounded nice too. I still have my mid 80’s Charvel, it has a kahler which bummed me out back in the day. Sold it to my stepdad but got it back a few years back. Love that guitar. Steven Tyler asked me if I wanted an autograph on the guitar and I said no lol long story

Totally understand the headstock preference but I’ve owned an 84 model 3 and (86?) model 6 and they are still two of the best guitars I’ve ever played, should’ve never got rid of them.

I Fu*%ing love CHARVEL guitars.. They are so much classier and lovelier than Ibanez guitars. Ibanez are brilliant guitars but I love Charvel and want every one ever made. LOL. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
The japanese Charvel were the **** ! The neck was pure heaven on them and the other Charvel didn't capture the same feel in my opinion.
Do you use a tremsetter or anything of the sort on any of your guitars Cameron? I love the feel and practicality of a floyd but I’m a bender and I just can’t stand doing a unison bend and the whole thing going out of tune. How do you get around this?

No trem setter on any of our guitars and cam is known for wild bends and vibrato...our guitars stay in tune, so possibly you need to check the setup on your guitar....double bends stay in tune perfectly......
Can you do a demo on setting up a 2 or trem, cant find much info on them. How to lower action, etc..
MY san dimas hh has a low action no pb

Your orange Charvel The decal on the head stock looks gold..All the Original San Dimas Charvels had the gold decal word .Non of yours are Originals back in the 80s were gold.

how have the out of the box set ups been on these for you? I have bought 3 charvels , just got a San Dimas, and all have required a set up as action is way too high . A shred guitar with really high action go figure. Love my charvels once they are properly set up but weird they can’t get that down at the factory better
I have never touched a thing. Whenever I have, I always made it worse. Action on a guitar is totally subject to preference and I have always preferred a higher action since I can bend further and the guitar sounds louder and more alive somehow.

I just received bought the new Pro Mod San Dimas Old Yella blasted ash that’s made in Korea.
I feel like it’s not as perfect as the Mexican Pro Mods.
Never even heard of Charvel before this video and I've played guitar most almost 30 years. Jebus they sound amazing...and you're a ridiculous guitar player...jaw literally dropping on the neon yellow one...crazy licks. That purple color is my fave too.

Do the modern Charvel guitars still have the "Rolled Edge" Fingerboard? And the Wider 2 1/8 in. Neck? And the perceived (Classical Guitar) Flatness Contour on the back of the neck? This is what I remember about Charvel and why I want one.
They have the rolled fingerboard edges and classic feel to them. You'll be fine
hi, amazing videos, I also own Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR MN, I have a question about the distance of humbackers (neck 59, bridge SH4) from the strings when the 22 fret is pressed. Can you advise me as best or standard? Thanks Pravos.

Haha....this video only includes cams charvels not the ones that belong to me.....maybe he will do another vid...I own charvels such as sunset orange flake, Ferrari red, black, rocket red, ash style 2 etc...several people have asked where some charvels have gone...all safe and sound just sit in my personal collection

They're very similar in terms of neck profile. The difference is nominal

Ebay and Gumtree.....never take the asking price as what they will take...get in there, be cheeky and ask for a better deal..."he who dares, wins"...some tell you to bugger off, but some will go "OK"....we've got lots of deals by haggling and when I say deals, I mean crazy bargains where you can't keep a straight face and giggle all the way home......

I've had 2 charvels with roasted (carmelized?) maple neck. The smell IS distinct. It's the smell of school desks in 2nd grade.
I Think I Have Camerona Virus cause all I've been doing during this quarentine has been watching everyone of your vids. I have a few Charvels . My favorite is a near mint 1988 Charvel/Jackson Model 5 FX. Very few made.

Sorry for the stupid questions, but there is a big difference between dk24 hsh and hss in terms of cleaning of sound? When you split the neck humb how is the sound?
