    Hi there thank you for this great video. Free version of Zapier is limited to 100tasks/month. Do you know how much task spends Creating a folder with the applicants name on the form and placing the uploaded documents of the form to that folder. Is it 1 task for each form or (1 for folder+ 1 for each uploaded document)x ? If this system works i can pay tough... i just wonder how the task system works.

    Great channel Jimmy, congrats, very useful, thanks! I already have an automated structure of Google Drive folders in place however, I need my clients to go through a google sheet checklist in the forlders, which contains a list of all the documents that should be placed in the folders... I'd like to know if it's possible to, next to each item of the checklist, insert a link to the right place in the folder structure so that the clients can actually upload each document to its corresponding folder, and that those links can be replicated dynamically when the folder structure is automatically replicated too, does this make any sense? Cheers!

      Sounds like you need Content Snare 😅
      You'd have to manually build that spreadsheet at the end of the Zapier automation - adding one row at a time with the correct link

    Hey JimmyRose, thank you for your videos, they're terrific. I have a question about creating Google Drive folders using Zapier. I use this Zap for an onboarding process, however, in the process, I create around 15 folders/subfolders. I currently just have a long zap with a step for each folder. I was wondering if there is a tool to use that will be easier?

    Quick question. Have everything configured correctly. I even duplicated the same search and if not there create for sub-folders. When sharing is activated and the share link is created. How is that automatically added into the email body to send to the client?

    • @_jimmyrose
      @_jimmyrose  ปีที่แล้ว

      Google should send a normal share link separately. If you want to email your client with the share link yourself, you can just map the share link into the body in Zapier

    Love the video and thank you so much for the tutorial!!! I use Zoho CRM to push a webhook from my CRM to my Google Drive via Zapier, and with your tutorial, have figured out how to search for, and then create a new folder if it's not in the parent folder, but do you know if there's a way to update the EXISTING folder name if I update the file name in my CRM, vs. creating a different folder with the updated name? Hello, Jimmy -
    Thanks for sharing! I’m just getting into this tool. I’m wondering if there’s a way to link the folders created with a separate Zap? For example, in one Zap it would setup the project main folder & subfolders as well as duplicate any necessary files into those folders. That Zap happens when they first inquire and become a lead. But once they sign the agreement to become a Sold Job, then I want another Zap to grant them access to some of the folders in that first Zap. How can I link this together so the post-agreement signing Zap will give the client permission to those folders from the first Zap?
    Thanks in advance for any help/clarity here.
    - Jared

    • @_jimmyrose
      @_jimmyrose  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll need to do a search from the second zap to find the one that was created previously. Alternatively you could store the folder ID somewhere like a spreadsheet and then look it up from the second zap.

    Thank you for this awesome video! Question: I'm building this integration to connect Procore --> GDrive (very similar) when a new project is created in Procore. I'd like to funnel the Project's GDrive folders into Markets (for example, when a new project is created with the "Atlanta" city label in Procore, it would create the matching GDrive folders in an Atlanta Sub-Folder in Gdrive. Do I need to create a unique Zap for each market? Or is there a way to do this in one Zap?

    • @_jimmyrose

But on the step where you copy the templates into the folder, where can I find the ID for that folder, seeing as how it hasn't actually been created yet? Or does zapier automatically know that it's the folder ID from step #2? Does that make sense? Thank you! :)

    Hi JimmyRose, great videos! I set up my CRM, JobNimbus, to create client folders in Drive whenever I add a new client. Here's what I can't figure out. In the CRM, I might create multiple jobs for the same client, each with it's own files. Hey Jimmy, is it possible to move this entire folder, with its contents, to another parent folder? Like say you created this folder "ACME CORP" in the folder called "clients", with all of these docs. But say they stop being a client and you want to create a trigger to move their entire folder to another folder called "ex clients". Not copying or duplicating, just moving the folder "ACME CORP" with its contents from parent folder (clients) to another parent folder (ex clients)? Possible? Thanks again!!

    • @Highgrowthlabs
      @Highgrowthlabs 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or if you can't move the client folder into another folder, could you rename it? For example, create a trigger to rename the folder "ACME CORP" to something like "old-ACME CORP"? One more question, lol. :D I just realized this this zap is missing one tiny step of what I'm trying to do - "create document from template". For example, in the video you are copying templates into the new folder, without changing any of the information IN those template documents.
    But what i want to do is, every time the trigger happens 1) a new document gets created from a template (client agreement document) 2) the contents of that template get updated (ie {{clientname}} turns into Client Name, etc); 3) a new client folder gets created ("client folder"), 4) and then the document that was created in steps 1&2 gets moved into the folder that was created in step 2.
    So the final result is that every time the new client trigger happens 1)I get a new client folder, with 2)a personalized client agreement IN that folder. I just realized that you aren't actually customizing the contents of any of these documents, just the titles. Is that part possible with this zap sequence? Thank you so much again!!

      Hey Jimmy, I just watched the video, and I guess what I'm trying to do is a combo of both that video and this video.
