You'll notice the blue moon appearing whenever Richmond plays Man City. While most people understand that it's City's unofficial anthem, it's not commonly known why that came about. When Man City managed a 2-1 win, the song Blue Moon broke out in the stands (and was taken up by the Man City faithful) - the official reason was that Man City only won on the road once in a blue moon. And yes, the man playing the manager of Man City was indeed Pep Guardiola, the real manager of the club.

Richmond having their backs against the wall is because Manchester City is a highly offensive minded team, so they were putting all the pressure on to get that equalizer. Against teams like that, getting an early opening goal is sometimes called "scoring too soon."
