Ah! I just filled magnolia promenade in my main save file haha! Had this video only been half a day earlier. I usually don’t fill it at all, but when I do I just usually use it for random places for my sims to visit that aren’t in the actual game anywhere by default like spas, restaurants and such. This is perfect for that kind of thing!
I get a mani and pedi done every 4/6 weeks. It’s my one spoil, other than doing my hair every 2nd month, that is just for me. This nail salon looks so beautiful. I’d definitely go there! 🥰
An idea for another community that I have would be a small, famous, family-owned restaurant! We have one like that in the town I live in that I've been going to with my family for years!! They literally have about 10 tables and it's really cramped, but the greek food their prepare is FAMOUS in town! People line up with smiles even if their wait could reach 1h. They don't want to sell out their restaurant (they had offers to make it a franchise and open more of them) and their employees haven't changed ever since I was a child. Amazing memories there! The owners live in the apartment just above even though they are RICH! Amazing people, amazing food, and adorable restaurant!
I would love to see a “community center” park lot - something set up with toddler play dates in mind, indoor area for kids puppet theater and adult activities in inclement weather but also outdoor play spaces.
I haven’t gotten my nails done in so long because of financial things but I loooove it. It is a form of self care and also it’s hard for me to get to my toes. I love a pedicure because of the massage chair and whoever does my pedi goes HAM. And I need it lol. I usually get acrylic nails because I like length and my nails break when they grow too long. Love the build! It feels very realistic. I’m gonna put it in my game!
I am making a spa in Sulani atm - totally different concept to this, but you've given me some useful ideas: guest book, foot baths (I didn't know about these!), bowl for hand soaking, sink for hand washing, a big old nail varnish display shelf... and a staff room, of course, why didn't I think of that? It's been a long time since I've been to a spa, I can tell you have really taken in useful details from your salon visits. It looks great in the end :) I have found car parking spaces tricky on my lots too, I think your solution looked great.
I love your community builds 😭❤️ they're super realistic without (most importantly) being too cluttered, which can be super laggy for gameplay. Fantastic job ❤️ would love to see more of your work
I love doing my nails, I'm awful at but it's so fun trying new colors and designs. I like going to salons because I don't mind people touching me, I like doing manicure and pedicure, I hate doing my feet so it's better when they do it. But I don't tend to go out for that because it's expensive but from time to time it's nice
I too was weirded out by having someone else touch my feet. I had a pedicure gifted to me as a package deal, so I sucked it up and tried it. It was lovely. It was at a nice salon & spa, included an amazing foot massage, and I actually loved it! I would get them done more often, but am nervous about nail fungus, and had an overzealous person trim my cuticles too much, giving me an infection. That had more to do with the quality of the salon tho. Will never go back there! The first two places I went were spa/salons, and were absolutely the best! Highly recommend! Now, I just do my own pedicures at home... cheaper, but not nearly as awesome.
I definitely get manicures more than pedicures but a nice pedicure can be great (minus the fact I'm ticklish) but the massage chair and foot massage/cleaning of all my dead skin is always so nice and relaxing. Plus my salon gives me drinks which is so nice with my self care day- im going to get my spooky nails on friday!
I have done my nails since the 2016 year regularly except covid times and the first month of russian invasion. And it's a very enjoyable part of my life. The new color is just like a new beginning and inspiration!
I know the idea of a pedicure is a lil weird but you will not regret getting a pedicure! it feels so nice! you should try it next time you get your nails done I get sns nails they last longer! great build hun!
This is gorgeous!! My boyfriend also thinks the idea of pedicures or foot massages is weird/uncomfy, but I loved getting my pedicure for graduation. I usually get regular polish because of how acrylics and gel have damaged my nails before. But I did get super cute gel nails in Korea

I've never had a pedicure myself but I've gotten my nails done before for the same issue you do your nails for and bou does it help,I've done acrylic and gel the gel are by far my personal fave and I typically get those now,my younger sister likes the acrylic better...and she has had pedicures and says I would love them we plan on getting one together I am alittle weirded out by pedicures myself which is why i havent had one yet but I at least want to try it once when I do ill let you know how it feels when I get the courage to do it.. Also definitely downloading this build for my game I love it

Not only should you try a pedicure, but when you can you should let them go all out with the hot rocks & massage. Take the self care to another level! It feels amazing
A little relieved to know I’m not the only skin picker out there. My fingerprints are probably so messed up. But painting my nails every week has helped tremendously. I don’t bite them at all anymore

I like downloading spas in Magnolia Promenade during my gameplay because I love spa treatments and want my sims to have a self care routine.
