My current sim household is a very out and proud alien who just wants to be friends with everybody lol! She throws lots of parties at her big ol alien house, she’s a mid level scientist trying to find her space family, and she has a cat named Precious🥰 I love her so much.
The concept of aliens trying to blend and not quite getting it right reminds me of that old sitcom 3rd rock from the sun - it was pretty funny but definitely dated now. I didn’t watch it when it was on the air, but binged it a few years ago and I really enjoyed it.
I love this!!! Your occult builds are always so fun! Would you ever do an abandoned/reclaimed factory build that a found family of witches has moved in to?

Love this! I actually played a rags to riches with a teenager alien Sim that I called Crash Landing. (The alien's name was Crash, obvs.) My build for them was more like a trailer that was made out of pieces from their spaceship, and I didn't stick with it long enough to build them a nicer home. This build makes me want to go find that old save and do some more work on it. 💚 We were trying to get to the top of the scientist career for fun (And profit! And shenanigans.)
I have been loving the occult Sim builds recently. I think it would be fun to see a build for an occult with an unusual/unexpected career or hobby. (Like a vampire yoga instructor or a mermaid criminal.)
I LOVE THIS. I think I actually suggested something similar a while ago and you definitely nailed it - the environmental storytelling is perfect! Another suggestion for a goofy spooky build - 2 Spellcaster siblings living together but currently in a fight - so they’re messing with each other’s spaces using magic.
Love this! It reminds me of that type of alien character in media that is really into humanity and really fascinated with anything human, but kinda awkward when it comes to fitting in in certain instances haha!

You could make it like they all think everyone else is human or like they want to make humans think they’re human too but little details betray them! Just a thought! I love occult builds! 🤩 I am totally tempted to make a socially awkward alien to go with this apartment. Like, Ariel the Little Mermaid trying to learn everything about humans. 😄 Would also be super fun to make a household where everyone is secretly an occult and giving the alien very weird data on what humans are like. It's totally normal human behaviour to wolf down a raw fish, right? Also apparently some humans are nocturnal and cannot eat food.

Oh man I imagine these aliens are super friendly and just excited to meet humans and interact with them, they're a bit like Pleakley from Lilo and Stich but with humans instead of mosquitos, I bet they're not a couple but they act like one in their human forms (or try to) in order to fit in better, in reality whenever they get back home from work or a day out they excitedly talk about the humans they met and interactions they had, love this apartment it's so much fun
i LOVED this build, my aliens are always so goofy and colorful that this is a amazing point of view!! ALSO, i Love how the apartment looks so normal and simple but the more close you look the more you starts getting kinda "wait a minute O.o"

This was such a cute concept and more realistic than you may think. I did some work with some refugees. The ministry helped a family move into their new apartment. They came back to visit later that day and the refugee family was getting ready to start a literal fire on top of the stove to cook their food. They were only told that's where they cook their food. So they were going to cook the only way they knew how over a fire.

Hey I’m a student in interior design and architecture and love your vids 🫶. But although I watch all you videos, sometimes I get quite frustrated by your floor plans, some look a bit quirky and not too realistic (which is completely fine we’re still in a game). But I’d like to point this one out for it’s realism, this was honestly one of the best ways to divide this flat.
You divided the flat in a night area, and a life area; you concentrated the “humid” rooms together, which is not to pricey and quite efficient, and you managed to bring lots lof light in the living area, and above everything, your floor plan is simple and easy to understand, no space is lost.

Loved every single detail of the build! For suggestions what I want next, probably a mermaid inspired build? We don't see that often, right? Maybe a mermaid vacation home? Like if mermaids live by the sea (or water) maybe when they take a vacation they go to very dry places, or something like that.
i would love to see an apartment for roommates where one is a spellcaster/witch (?) and the other one is a werewolf. and maybe they don't quite know that fact about ech other, so they're both trying to hide that but fail just a little bit

No joke, my dad's ex wife used to put pictures of random people up on the wall. You know when you buy a picture frame and it has stock photos of random people in it? Yes, that's what she did. She "thought they looked nice."
I got a occult build idea for you, a vampire mystery manor.
Here is the main idea for it. There are two living spaces in this place, the above manor where a unsuspecting couple are tenants. And the secret basement where their vampire landlord lives.
The manor is a little bit odd. There aren't any mirrors anywhere, because they could reveal that the landlord doesn't have a reflection. There are welcome mats in front off all the doors into the mansion, as vampires cannot come in uninvited. There doesn't seem to be a toilet anywhere, as vampires don't pee and poop it completely slipped his mind. The vampire landlord knows humans eat, but as he hasn't prepared food for a 1000 years some of the subtler details about cooking eludes him. You got a fridge, what more do you need?!
But here is where it gets twisted. The manor has hidden hallways inside the walls. They are narrow, just wide enough for a human to walk through and nothing else. But through these hallways the vampire landlord can get into most of the rooms in the house. How has the couple not noticed these hallways? Bookshelf doors from the author career. They look just like normal bookshelves from the outside, and they are locked for everyone except the vampire landlord.
The Bedroom is the only place these hallways don't have access to, and they are in the second floor. But don't you worry. They have those windows from the teenage pack that one can climb through. And there are handrails to climb up to the second floor and to those windows. These windows would also be locked for everyone except the vampire landlord.
Also there is a middle room. There are no doors inside, nor can you get into it through the cramped hidden hallways inside the walls. There seems to be no way of getting inside, and it leaves a mysterious space where it feels like there should be something and the inhabitants can clearly spot. But there is just no way of getting in. Welll... If you aren't capable of teleporting. Inside that room is a pipe organ, that the vampire goes to play on on occasion. Where the tenants can vaguely hear it but never place where the music comes from.
Lastly the basement where the landlord secretly lives. While the rest of the mansion is kinda old fashioned and vaguely vampire-ish. The basement is were we go full ham. Think medieval dungeon combined with a underground cemetery. Victorian decorations, coffins, villainous decour, you name it. There are hidden rooms in the walls, with gravestones, urns and bones inside. But no doors inside. These are former tenants, who he has burried inside the walls. There are also other rooms with no doors, these rooms contain the things like a coffin. You know, things that would really reveal him for a vampire. There is also a jail cell, which lacks toilets and showers, but contains a mini fridge and uncomfortable bedding. It contains enough to keep the person inside alive, but they would be living in their own filth.
I had the same idea about aliens a year ago… They even copied the furniture of the neighbour 😂😂😂 It’s so fun to look at. 😂😂

am i the only one curious why she uses the round ceiling lights and sizes them down instead of just using the ones that come sized down?
5 sims, one human, one vampire, one spellcastor, one werewolf, one mermaid, all roommates and seemingly friends. Thats what the human thinks anyway. The vampire is there for blood, the werewolf and spellcastor only speak to each other when the human is present, the mermaid knows everything and is just there for the drama. Furniture is broken constantly, water is in the weirdest places, plants, specific plants are everywhere, something always smells like it's burning, and the poor vampire can't seem to get in the house half the time. The human knows nothing except their friends keep trying to kill each other.
Actually when I was learning how to speak English I really took the coffee table quite literally, because in portuguese the direct translation to English would be sort of (central table) so I really had this idea that it would be a table just to have coffee, maybe I am a little bit alien 😂👽.
But you can see straight away they are aliens for the lack of cutting boards🤔😂.
