You get some of the best video footage of ocean critters on TH-cam, probably the best. I'm constantly amazed with the moments you capture. Thanks for sharing with us.
Blue whales are absolutely astounding to see, been incredibly lucky to view them in the Indian Ocean off of the coast of Sri Lanka. You really have no concept of their size until one breaches alongside your boat and it just keeps coming. Incredible.
I always love every single video you put out but ESPECIALLY whales and orcas, they are my favorite animals on the planet and your drone images are BREATHTAKING.
Hey Carlos is the Orca at the beginning named "Old Thom" I live in Massachusetts and we have a single male that will grace us with his magnificent presence. I believe the last time he was sighted out at Stellwagen. The paradise of lots of whales. If you never been think about putting it on your list next time you visit Cape Cod❤
I didn't have to go on tour boats to see Humpbacks. My job was on the sea and we would have them breach next to the boat all the time. Dolphins were also regular visitors.👍😎🇦🇺
Wonderful footage. It must be such a blessing to be close to these glorious creatures. They really shouldn't have forgiven all the horrors they suffered at human hands but there they are, so huge and so gentle. Except maybe those orcas off the coast of Portugal who have something to say lol. They are particularly fascinating. I was a bit sad when you mentioned that one orca being on his own but then I am on my own so why not? :D He has the whole world. Super magical video. Thank you :) from Oz. Maybe one day you will visit Australia and get to film our Great Whites!
I thought I saw first Fin whales, then Sperm whales, then False Killer Whales? Not sure about the last. Thank you for this beautiful footage. I love whales and dolphins of all kinds.
You always produce the coolest freggin content! 😎💯🔥🔥🔥❤️ i hope to get to meet u one day & even go looking for sharks or whales with u would be a dream of a lifetime! 😊
I feel fortunate to live where I do , near Hervey Bay in Queensland Australia , often called the whale watching capital because the humpbacks use the bay as a staging / rest area on their annual migration between the warm tropical waters where they birth their offspring and the Antarctic waters where their feeding grounds are . The times I've been out on the whale watching boats have been really good , close proximity as the whales approach the boats and enjoying the interaction with the people .
Living in the UK I grew up watching the many BBC Natural History documentary’s and I must say your aerial footage matches and indeed surpasses theirs. Amazing footage. I wish you and your family all the best with what is going on in LA at the moment. Stay safe.
Your videos always inspire me friend. I always finish watching them feeling inspired and so positive about our world. You are the modern David Attenborough of the seas.
❤❤❤jaques cousteau is my deep ocean diver TOTAL HERO prayers to you all in Malibu this week i truly hope all wildlife remains safe n sound despite tragic events ❤😢🐾🐬🐳🐋🦈🐡🐠🐟🦋💯💔
Many cetaceans and pinnipeds that get caught up in netting do so as a result of following fishing boats. The oceanic mammals wait until the boats gather up their nets full of fish, next to the boats. Then they intentionally swim, or even jump, into the nets with the fish to feast. Those who watch quick videos of this technique often comment that this is a clever hunting strategy. Based on the distress that the humpback in your video was in, I think this technique is actually Darwinian. Sooner or later, those creatures will themselves get caught in those nets to some degree. Naive people think that fishermen are evil or something when they hear of mammalian bycatch in commercial fishing nets. Few take the time to investigate. When people do look closely, they might learn that these situations are just as likely the result of dolphins or whales taking this sort of "lazy" approach. They follow fishing boats in hopes of an "easy" meal. Lazy and easy, maybe, but very risky. Humans and oceanic mammals need to learn to coexist in the oceans. Not just the humans, but the whales and dolohins are smart enough that they should figure their part out. Or I imagine mother nature will solve the problem by winnowing those out of the gene pool who pursue this strategy. Instead, however, interest groups exploit people's ignorance and make commercial fishing more and more expensive. Even though oceanic mammals are clearly on an overall healthy growth trajectory. Obe can make the argument that humans shouldn't eat fish, and we should eliminate commetcial fishing because if bycatch situations. It is a discussion we should have. One that addresses how we will replace the annual loss 50 million tons (100 billion pounds, or 15 pounds per human on earth) of animal protein that commercial fishing provides the world.
This is one of my favourite videos you’ve done Carlos 💙. When I look at whales I absolutely believe what you said that they have the power to change someone. We need these videos now more than ever 🩵💙
Great collection of moments of different cetacean species. The Orcas hunting the Mobula Rays is definitely my favorite.
No words! I feel like crying because it's so beautiful! Thank you for this video!
Well, some words then. 😉 Still, the beauty of these extraordinary animals is something to behold.

I’m going to have to keep Point Dume in Malibu in March in mind to see Gray Whales near shore.
Just absolutely love your videos Carlos keep up the excellent work

Orca my spirit animal 💪🙏
Beautiful, utterly beautiful. Also, was that a Fin Whale towards the end?
I miss Jacques Cousteau so much
Beautiful footage thankyou ! I feel sad for the lone male Orca though...i hope he makes a family/finds a pod to join 😢.
Awesome
I would Love If I Could swim with a Gray Whale in Baja!.
❤❤❤jaques cousteau is my deep ocean diver TOTAL HERO prayers to you all in Malibu this week i truly hope all wildlife remains safe n sound despite tragic events ❤😢🐾🐬🐳🐋🦈🐡🐠🐟🦋💯💔
✨💖🥰💖✨
Wow ❤
I was really hoping that you are okay over there, with those fires. !!! Stay safe!!!
Thanks for the beautiful, well narrated, educational video. How long would you estimate the length of CA199?
The Bluewale looks so unreal like KI lul
Was that lone orca "chainsaw"
Fin whale!!!!
is there any chance that the lone male orca is "Ruffles" from the PNW residents? Presumed deceased since 2010.
Didn't Cousteau claim back in the 70s, there were only six Blue Whales left and he wasn't saying where they were, so they could recover?
Did the humpback entangled in the net get any help from humans to remove it ???
What about their size would make one assume they can't dive deep? Uou said "despite their size". Why?
God's greatest failure in creation is the human species.
Imagine what a wondeful place Planet Earth would be if humanity had never existed.

With eyes that big you would think they would see your drone invading their privacy.
Poor whales were trying to change into their bathing suits.
3.6k views...TH-cam, you lose.
