Santa Monica Fishing Pier UNDERWATER footage! (Hundreds of fish!)

I decided to go fishing at Santa Monica in Los Angeles, California. I also tried fish Venice pier, Huntington Beach Pier, Redondo, and Oceanside but they were close or to packed. When I arrived at the pier I saw a school of Zebra Perch and I decided to put my GoPro underwater so it could capture the school of fish. While the GoPro was in the water it captured other fish such as California Corbina, Smelt, Walleye perch, and Sargo. I hope you enjoyed the underwater footage and thanks for watching!

Does any 1 know what rig to use to catch these ?? I'm thinking a j hook idk what size though and some shrimp or squid??
