I remember watching Signs at the theater. As I was leaving, I walked past a man who said “Well, that wasn’t a very good alien movie.” I leaned over and said “If you thought this movie was about aliens, you completely missed the point.” The movie is about faith and Graham’s journey to realize that even though immense tragedy, the pain of losing his wife, God had a plan and set little things (signs) in motion (asthma, Beau’s water issues, Colleen telling Merrill to swing away) that would eventually save the rest of his family. Our pastor actually did a sermon on this movie, showing bits of it in church.
@@commonstragedyAhh.. if they were demons originally that explains why they're such useless aliens, and why it's so innanely solipsistic. This film probably did okay in the United States where they have a lot of Christians and corn! 👽✝️🌽
I went to see this film with my bestie when I was 14, and for some reason, when Mel Gibson runs round the house, shouting, "I'M LOSING MY MIND" it made us laugh hysterically. My friend made it her ringtone.
Mel Gibson can play devastation and heartbreak so incredibly well. When his face wells up and those tears start showing themselves, he hits hard every single time.
The part of Ray Reddy, the veterinarian, was played by M. Night Shyamalan, who is also the guy who wrote the movie (or is the director, I forget which) He likes to have a small part in most of the movies he does. He's not a bad actor as well as being an excellent director. I love most of his movies, since he doesn't rely on cursing, blood guts and gore, to flesh out a movie--he relies on the actors to tell the story. If you pay attention, the aliens really didn't have a big part in the movie. Instead, the story really revolved around the reverend and his family, the death of his wife, and how the attack of the aliens on his home, to bring him back to his faith. I'm so glad you two enjoyed it!
yeah, The Happening was his seventh film over all (if you don't count his student film), but the first to get an R rating (the first cut of the film came back NC-17 so he had to bring on another editor to help get it down to an R). but even in that, the gore serves a purpose, is rarely used, and isn't exploitative. its commonly said that with M Night, he';s like Merril. he always swings away. hit or miss, he gives it his all, and when he hits, its always a home run.
Seeing Joaquin's character being a loyal brother and loving uncle after his role in Gladiator really impressed me!!! He did such a good job playing an ahole in Gladiator, it was a pleasant surpise to see him later in this, Signs.
I remember this film was so cool to me as a kid because it was so different than any other alien movie I had seen. Glad you guys got to see it! Also, that dinner scene is pure gold. When the dad yells, "SO ENJOY IT", then immediately breaks down crying is heartbreaking and so powerful. Such a good movie that still holds up, one of M. Night Shyamalan's best films.
Mel does this in nearly every movie and it gets me teary eyed every single time (Lethal weapon 4, Braveheart, the Patriot, Craven, Ransom, etc). We Can Feel His Pain and know that this actor put himself in the pain that a father or spouse would feel but not necessarily show on his face. Through Mel’s teary eyes we see the pain in his soul; it’s a very touching moment for most women to see the strength and vulnerability.
I love how everything fit together at the end of this movie, and the little things you notice on the second viewing. One of the best is when Meryl is in the army office and says _"It felt wrong not to swing."_ as an explanation for why he had the minor league strike out record.
For me it was the part when they get to the house where after Merrill tells Morgan that this is all a lie, the second Gibson is going to drop the baby monitor, Merrill says, "You'll lose the signal". He forgot everything he just said and it's like he automatically believed Morgan like a little kid 😂😂😂😂
I love this movie. It’s full of symbolisms and it all ties in together perfectly. This was Joaquin’s next movie after Gladiator and I was happy to see him as a likable and sympathetic character. I really enjoyed y’alls reactions and commentary as always.
He was so despicable in Gladiator that making a movie so completely different to that probably helped him from being typecast and showed his range. Hated him (well, his character) in Gladiator. Loved him in this. He's been great in everything I've seen him in. I loved his take on the Joker.

what i loved about this movie is how it was all connected.. the little girl's abandoned water glasses, the son's asthma, the older son with the baseball bat.. perfection
If they made this movie today none of that would've even been brought up as character traits and in the end they'd just beat the aliens with girl power.
I have never heard Asia scream like that. I knew it was coming and she still scared the hell out of me. So many well written (and acted) scenes in this movie. The two kids did such a great job. The timing of the humor was perfect.
Love this movie. Till this day this is still one of the best movies experience I ever had, when I saw this in the theater. Everyone was so engrossed in the movie, nobody was making any noise, you could almost hear a pin drop with how quiet the audience was being.
I remember how people and critics trashed this movie, but I always loved it. The story, the music, the actors, the overall vibe of this movie is so unique for me. Also, it is very easy to make circles into a cornfield.
It is not easy to make crop circles in a cornfield. It is easy to make them in grain fields (oats, wheat, barley, etc.), and even a large one can be made by a couple of people in a single night. Corn is a whole other beast, with very tough woody stems, and it would be very difficult to make a crop circle in a stand of almost mature corn, as was shown in this movie. When I first saw this movie, the crop circle in the cornfield is what made me realize that real aliens were involved. Shyamalan is one of my favourite storytellers :)
@@leeneufeld4140 I meant that it doesn't require a lot of equipments and stuff and it can be done without a spaceship. I know it is a hard work to do it when the corn is that tall. I worked in a cornfield once, we had to pluck out the middle part of the corn (I don't know how to call that in English lol) and man, it was HARD. Not to mention the burning Sun!
This is by far one of my favorite movies of all time. So glad you both got to watch and enjoy Signs. No gore, no pointless jump scares, just good old fashion movie making.
M. Night can be very hit or miss, but you have to admire that he takes big swings. He either misses hard (The Happening, After Earth) or hits big (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable).
I loved After Earth when I watched it again. I think everyone got hung up on it being Will and Jaiden. I saw it was a journey to allowing your kid to grow up. And how if you teach them, you are the voice in their head that keeps them going…and also when they need to go their own way with confidence.
“Beau don’t run” I love how he watched over his sister calmly, to help prevent a dog attack. I like little details like that. Some may laugh, but to me, this is the first film about aliens that felt scary. Usually alien films were about monsters on other planets, which was cool but never felt like a threat. Or, they were about an alien invasion, but the aliens usually just blew up some buildings and then fought the military. It always felt like an action film and never hit home. But this film, it felt personal. Imagine being in your own home, preparing what you fully believe to be your last meal, and waiting for aliens to come. And then, they do.
If you haven't seen it, there is an interesting movie by same director - "The Village". Good acting, some nice plot twists. Genre is romance/thriller/fantasy . Consider reacting.
I was 10 years old when this film came out and I saw it in theaters with my father--this movie terrified the crap out of me lol. I refused to go in corn mazes at halloween, had trouble sleeping thinking an alien is on the roof, etc. It was bad for a kid haha I just remember my mom calling my dad and giving the poor guy an earful for letting me see the movie. Now its one of my favorite films though
The thing about the dinner scene. It's analogous to the "Last Supper" Graham believes whole heartedly, that this is the last day on Earth he will be spending with his family. So it's not out of sadness that they are shedding tears, while I suppose there is a little of that. It is ultimately out of fear. to know that this thing is coming, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Also the way he says "I'm not ready" always gives me chills. On a side note, the moment where he's telling his children about the time they were born. He doesn't want them to be afraid, and he doesn't know what else to do...he doesn't want them to be afraid if they are about to die.
Between BJ and his quotes and one liners, and Asias laugh and hiding hahahaha I can’t you guys. Just love you both so much! Great movie, and fantastic reaction!! Love from 🇨🇦
Same bj had me cracking up at his jokes and the way he makes asia laugh and the way she looks at him makes me smile and laugh along with them! Beautiful chemistry and love they have for eachother❤
I knew Asia was going to jump at seeing the reflection of the alien in the tv but I didn't expect her to almost snatch BJ's arm off let alone have him nearly stand up! 😆🤣💀
The hype for this movie was massive. Signs did just over $60 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. One of the biggest opening weekends of all time at that point, but nearly unfathomable because it was not a sequel, prequel, spinoff, reboot, remake or adaptation of any sort. No built-in fan base whatsoever other than the Director and actors involved.
Yep, saw this opening night in a theater with a sold-out crowd; it was one of the most memorable moviegoing experiences I've ever had. I have never heard an audience scream as loud as they did at the pantry scene.
First time I saw this movie I was with some friends at their house at night. This was in a more rural area. All the lights were turned off with the only light coming from the tv. my friend had black trash bags over a couple of the windows on the outisde and it was breezy that night. So while we were watching the movie, we’d see this vague, indefinite motion in the windows. It was pretty spooky.
This movie was filmed down the street from where I grew up. M. Night is very loyal to the area and films many of his movies here. He is from here. (SE PA- Buck County)
@@carriemichelle322 we were living in New Hope at the time. He filmed the scene of the accident on Pineville Rd. Right down the road from us. I lived in Langhorne until middle school. 😉
I saw this movie in the theater. I remember getting a chill when they show the video of an alien on the news while it was walking down a street. A lot of people don't know just how dark it can be at night in the country. No streetlights ect. They captured that in this movie.
I did too. I still remember how we all screamed at the birthday party footage. 🎉 This was the only movie I had a problem sleeping after. When I went to lie down I thought I saw a shadow on my TV screen so I stayed up all night. lol
i saw this in the movie theater. it scared the sh*t out of me. i thought it was just going to be a creepy movie about signs showing up in crop fields and that' sit. i didn't know it was going to reach the level that it did. i remember going to walmart afterwards and having a hard time shaking this movie off.
One of my all time favorite movies! I saw it in the theater opening weekend, and the entire theater was screaming! Both of your reactions were the best. Thank you for this, this made my day!
That is one unlucky alien. First it gets locked in a pantry, gets its fingers cut off, and has to wait for its friends to come back and let it out. Then it not only gets left behind when they leave, but it is in the house where someone can beat the tar out of it with a bat. Also, "Ray" was played by M. Night himself.
That’s one of my favorite alien movies. One of M.Knights best in my opinion. If y’all like the alien 👽 genre, try “Fire In The Sky” it’s based on a true story of a guy named Travis Walton who claims he was abducted by aliens. He went missing for 5 days.
I was just about to suggest that film. I live in Arizona and that story and film was talked about for years as I was growing up. Highly recommend it because I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.
Hey guys, love your stuff! I really never thought this movie was about aliens. I think the signs they were talking about were what the family had: Morgan had asthma, Bo had her obsession with water, and Merrill was very powerful with a bat. These three things that the family had, were what they used to combat the aliens. If they didn't have these, they wouldn't have won. And I think that's why Mel Gibson's character returns to being a pastor. He saw these things as signs from God, that were used to help them fight the aliens. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense right now, and I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. That aside, I think that the figure of the alien showing up on the TV screen was one of the greatest directorial scenes I have ever seen in my life!
A masterclass in tension building. My favorite Shyamalan film. Also, the footage shown when they first turn on the TV is real footage from a UFO sighting called the Arizona lights. I recommend everyone check out the footage because hundreds and hundreds of people called it in. Fascinating UFO sighting.
The morning after I was scared spitless from watching this movie, I was driving down a gravel road near our home. Corn growing on both sides. Suddenly, there were bunches of people walking out of the corn to parked vehicles on the sides of the road. I had lived there for years and never seen this before. I hit the gas and peeled out of there, heart nearly beating out of my chest! Turned out some cows had gotten loose and people were trying to round them up, but I nearly wrecked the car getting out of there!
This is a dope Sci-Fi Horror film! I remember seeing this at the Drive-In when I was like 6 going on 7 years old!! I’m not the biggest M. Night Shyamalan fan but this is one of his best next to The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Split and the Village!! You won’t regret it!!
The man in the truck that Graham was talking to is M. Night Shyamalan, the director of the movie. He makes an appearance in all of his movies like Alfred Hitchcock used to do.
I watched this movie at a late night viewing when it first came out. Since then, there are times I still look at rooftops. lmao . The sound effects in this movie gets me every time.
This in my opinion is M Night Shyamalan's greatest film. Is so cleverly weaves faith, philosophy , and ET. Every moment of Mel Gibson's characters life including his wife's death, was a sign ...giving them every clue they needed to defeat the creatures. The water obsession his daughter had, His wife's last words that seemed gibberish , were actually all part of a plan, a sign , or premonition to lead them to victory , and Him back to his faith. I have never seen a film that could tackle a topic like this so well. I wish M Night would start making these stellar movies again.
I took a trip in 2003 to England. While there, I got to walk around in a crop circle, and I saw another one from a distance. Ray is played by M Night Shyamalan. He appears in every one of his films. Also, Shyamalan likes being able to go home to his family at night, so all his films are shot in Pennsylvania. Something that set the tone for this particular film is that the first day of shooting occurred on 9/11. NYC is not that far from the location and one of the hijacked planes was forced down into a Pennsylvanian field, killing all on board. Also, the day Shyamalan shot the scene with him in the car telling the minister not to open the pantry door, Shyamalan learned his beloved grandfather had died. The minister's wife was psychic; her daughter is, too, which is why the water tasted weird to her and why she was afraid her brother was going to die. It says something that the wife stayed alive and left information with her husband that ended up saving the lives of her family. Her death killed his faith, but finally grasping her meaning resurrected it again. There is a spiritual core in every M Night Shyamalan film.

I think you missed some of the Sign's. The Signs are from God. The Wife dying and saying to tell Merrill to swing away, the little girl with leaving the water all around, and the boys asthma was there to save him from the poison, and Merrill striking out so much or he would have been off away playing Baseball and not at home.
First off, I love this movie, and I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction to it! But to help explain the crop circles themselves, the news stations had reported the night of the invasion that ships were appearing within 1 mile of each crop circle. The crop circles were used as a means of navigation for the ships and invasion parties, so the ship in their area was not hiding within their cornfield. It had been cloaked and hovering within their area, or had retreated back into space after dropping off the recon group and only returning once the invasion began. Since their house was within 1 mile of the ship on the night of the invasion, it could be implied that their area was getting the brunt of the invasion force, which would certainly make their surviving the encounter, A miracle...
Hi Asia and BJ I just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction. Signs is hands down my favorite Alien movie of all time. The story was great, The acting was excellent and the tension was palpable. However this movie also killed wind chimes for me. Also the scene with the alien on the roof still creeps me out because my old house was built exactly like theirs where my window faced the roof. I always had to keep the blinds closed when I lived there. 😂 Glad you enjoyed the film. BTW the aliens in the films were “Reptilians”
This is definitely one of M. Night's best movie. It definitely freaked me out when I was younger. And to see y'all freak out on the pantry scene definitely took me back
M. Night's role is amazing. What a fine character and appearance to show us who he is. Wow. That always amazes me. "I know what I've done to you. I know I took your faith away." THANK YOU, M. NIGHT.
At 29:23, play the video at 0.25 speed and see how quickly Asia reacts to the Alien's reflection on the TV. It's not even fully on the screen by the time she reacts. Impressive.
Love this movie! Excellent reaction. Y’all had me on the floor with the jump scare at the end 29:24 😂. The aliens are able to change their skin like a chameleon to camouflage themselves. Who knows how long and how close they were watching. They could’ve been sitting on the front porch and you’d never know it. You can see the camouflage at 29:39 -the alien arm is plaid like the kid’s shirt. Asia-the movie Dark Skies has “the greys” in it and talks about the other kinds you were trying to remember. Really good movie.
So i noticed BJ recognized the guy in the movie “Unbreakable” in this movie. His name is “Night Shyamalan” and he plays a small role in every movie he directs. He was the doctor in the “Sixth Sense” Stadium drug dealer in “Unbreakable” and the neighbor in this movie. A+ director he’s known for his great twists. And i hope you guys are up to watch the sequel to “Unbreakable” it has a outstanding performance by James McAvoy and a great storyline.
M Night Shyamalan is a fantastic storyteller, all his films are well worth a watch. My personal favourite unbreakable trilogy but also Lady in the Water which is underrated.
I love Lady in the Water. He also stars in his movies. In the Sixth Sense, he is the doctor who talks to Cole's mom after he gets locked in the closet. In this movie, he is the guy that traps the alien in his closet, and Mel chops one of its fingers off. In Lady in the Water, he is the writer who inspires someone, the brother of the girl, who translates what she says in the shower. M' Night is notorious for starring in his movies even as an extra of a small part.
The Greys: they aren't owls. ("The Fourth Kind") "They stay in the shadows, covert-like..... It's called 'probing.' It's a military procedure. Send out a reconnaissance group. Very small. Check things out. Not to engage, but to evaluate the situation. Evaluate the level of danger. Make sure things are all clear." "Clear for what?" "The rest of them." The Army sergeant has a point. What I find fascinating, though, is that most everyone focuses on the horror-like aspect of the alien invasion of "Signs" - and misses the subtle point: a man who wasn't anchored in his faith, loses it, and then regains it. "Signs" is actually a beautiful film, and that James Newton Howard score is awesome.
This movie terrified me as a kid, where I'd check my room every night before going to sleep. As an adult I can appreciate this movie WAY more, with all of its symbolism. This movie is pure art. Love your reactions too haha, glad you guys got really into it 👽
There are Angles and Dangles in his directors camera view that are so fun to watch the second time around. There’s a reason for every thing in the foreground and the background for plot building or explanation. What did I just see?’What did I just feel? What just came sharply into view, not just with the eyes but with the soul? Hidden revelations about good and evil, strength and weakness. M. Night is THE reason that everyone looks for hidden meaning and plot twists, since the Sixth Sense. I still can’t see a glass of water without hearing her say, It’s Contaminated then her dancing like the people on tv. This isn’t my favorite of his but it has grown on me for the meme-able moments in the movie (Gibson, always the comedian) and because it’s still in comic book story board format where you can turn the page and he’s at home, turn the page and he’s at the car wreck, turn the page and he’s at Ray’s house, turn the page and they’re gone but you don’t know why, etc. You only see and hear what the director wants you to feel in the shot, moment by moment, as you get to the end of the chapter. it’s definitely better than The Village and OLD but not as good as the Unbreakable Trilogy. His message is always… You think you Know and You think you’re Safe? You’re wrong. Evil and crazy coexist along with good intended faithful (justice warriors). Yin and Yang of the soul. A crisis reveals a hero and a villain. Fate plays out in it’s own time.
I was in my early 20s when this movie first came out and i saw it in theaters. I had just moved back in with my parents briefly. They lived in Kansas in the middle of nowhere surrounded by cornfields. It was hard falling asleep some nights lmao.
Its funny that you decided to do a movie about aliens with all the hoopla going on in congress about the existance of aliens and space crafts that are in our possession. I love this movie and am super glad you reacted to it! Loved the reaction!!
Oh man... this is one of my favorite alien horror films. I was 12 when this film came out and it blew my mind and scared the hell out of me. I love the invasion build-up with all the news stories. I used to get SO SCARED at the footage of the alien on the TV that I would have to close my eyes. xD
I remember seeing this at the cinema back when it came out, with my friends (we were around 12/13yrs at the time). The collective screaming at all the key scary moments was incredible XDD My god, seeing the alien hiding in plain sight at that kids' party, I think I shat myself.
This was my sons very first scary movie (mostly because it really wasn’t THAT scary. )My 8 year old son wasn’t sure if he wanted to go because he was scared of anything Chucky (and his sister knew because she would put her chucky doll on his bed sometimes🫣🙄). He loved this movie so much that in the car on the way home he said “I dare you to take me to see it again tomorrow”😂 he tried reverse physiology ha. M. Nights second best movie. Sixth Sense being number 1.
I always felt like M Night Shyamalan was on the right track with this movie. The scariest movies was not what you seen but what you didn’t see but you knew it was there that got me. I can’t even watch sometimes cause the tension is too much.
This is one of the best written stories I have ever seen. All the things like the water glasses and Merill being the homerun king, the Father losing his faith when his wife was taken from him, then his faith that God saved his son....great story. The movie was about faith...
Damn. Even just watching your reaction gave me goosebumps. This one of the creepiest movies I’ve ever seen. But it has a hopeful message: everything happens for a reason.
Love you guys, love this movie, love this reaction! Asia, you are not the only one to jump out of your skin at that last jump scare with the alien reflected in the TV. I know it's coming now, and I still jump! Just so you know, crop circles aren't nearly as difficult or labor intensive to make as you think. They use wooden boards to flatten large areas at a time, and bend all the stalks in the same direction. It takes two guys a couple of hours to make a decent size one.
So glad you’re watching Signs. It’s one of my favorites. I’m also anxiously waiting for you to finish the Harry Potter series because it is my absolute, all time favorite.
The scene with the alien footage on TV at the birthday party still spooks me.

Shyamalan is both the director and the writer of this film, as well as one of the producers

yeah, The Happening was his seventh film over all (if you don't count his student film), but the first to get an R rating (the first cut of the film came back NC-17 so he had to bring on another editor to help get it down to an R). but even in that, the gore serves a purpose, is rarely used, and isn't exploitative.
its commonly said that with M Night, he';s like Merril. he always swings away. hit or miss, he gives it his all, and when he hits, its always a home run.
The scene with the alien walking by the kids freaked me out when I first saw this as a child. 😅
It freaked me out as an adult! It STILL freaks me out... and I'm 56! Lol!
@@lesliesummey5880 Understandable lol. It's a great scene. I don't get freaked out easily now but that part still brings back that same feeling.
I saw it in the theater and the gasp from the audience was as visceral a moment as I can remember.
I saw it in the theater with my best friend and she choked on a hot tamale candy when that part came on lolll
It's the stinger music and Joaquin's acting that really sells the scene.
Seeing Joaquin's character being a loyal brother and loving uncle after his role in Gladiator really impressed me!!! He did such a good job playing an ahole in Gladiator, it was a pleasant surpise to see him later in this, Signs.
Joaquin’s just a phenomenal actor…goes on to do Johnny Cash, the Joker and now Napoleon. He’s insanely versatile.
@@nikkijohnson983 Totally agree, very talented!😊
Ray was M. Night Shyamalan.
Love the personal one family feel. As opposed to the mass destruction angle.
💯
I love how everything fit together at the end of this movie, and the little things you notice on the second viewing. One of the best is when Meryl is in the army office and says _"It felt wrong not to swing."_ as an explanation for why he had the minor league strike out record.
I think my favorite part of this movie is them running around the house, threatening the "intruders". "I'M LOSING MY MIND!' 😂
I'M INSANE WITH ANGER.
😂 gets me every time
For me it was the part when they get to the house where after Merrill tells Morgan that this is all a lie, the second Gibson is going to drop the baby monitor, Merrill says, "You'll lose the signal".
Ay, Symbolisms.
Nice to meet another Ash fan here. haha

@@LA_HA I wish you peace and safety as well friend. Take care.
what i loved about this movie is how it was all connected.. the little girl's abandoned water glasses, the son's asthma, the older son with the baseball bat.. perfection
He is the sisters brother: he came to help after she died. But yes it all tried together
No he's the Father's brother.
If they made this movie today none of that would've even been brought up as character traits and in the end they'd just beat the aliens with girl power.
Older son with bat? he is the father's brother Merrill who moved in to help his brother after his wife died.
This movie was so underrated. The scene where the alien was on the roof as dude looked out the window eluded me for so long 😂
I have never heard Asia scream like that. I knew it was coming and she still scared the hell out of me. So many well written (and acted) scenes in this movie. The two kids did such a great job. The timing of the humor was perfect.
Abigail Breslein and The Youngest Culkin Brother Rory,Great acting.
They said Mel scared her during the dinner scene and she was really crying.
I think this was Breslin's big breakout. I don't remember her having a big part where she was this young.
This movie was the epitome of tension horror back in a day. Glad to see it still slaps.
“Pack the cows, we’re leaving.” 😂😂😂Asia, you are too funny!
Great reaction! The guy who killed the wife was M. Night Shyamalan, he usually does a cameo in all his movies. Still holds up IMO. 👍👍👍
You both almost jumped thru the roof with that last jump scare 😂. Great reactions you two. It’s a very good movie 🛸👽
He's acting like her grabbing him was what got him, but he was jumping off the couch whether she was there or not.
“Beau don’t run”
I love how he watched over his sister calmly, to help prevent a dog attack.
My favorite M. Night along with the Sixth Sense of course.
Movie scared the hell outta me when i was younger lol i loved it tho
Agreed. The Village is underrated…would be a great reaction video for Halloween time 👍🏻
please don't... hate that movie
I was just gonna suggest this movie
I was 10 years old when this film came out and I saw it in theaters with my father--this movie terrified the crap out of me lol.
I refused to go in corn mazes at halloween, had trouble sleeping thinking an alien is on the roof, etc. It was bad for a kid haha
I just remember my mom calling my dad and giving the poor guy an earful for letting me see the movie.
One of the things that scared me the most were the aliens talking on the baby monitor....that strange clicking sound gave me chills!
I love this movie, just enough jump scare but also a very human story. Cant wait to watch it w you guys!
I remember seeing this in theaters. It was such an experience. That found footage scene, everyone screamed.
Yep, saw this opening night in a theater with a sold-out crowd; it was one of the most memorable moviegoing experiences I've ever had. I have never heard an audience scream as loud as they did at the pantry scene.
@@DrTedNelson Same! In my theater, the loudest scream was the pantry.

A lot of people don't know just how dark it can be at night in the country. No streetlights ect. They captured that in this movie.

Great reaction. People forget this was a wonderful film!
I have seen this movie countless times and it’s still gives me goosebumps throughout!
Asia- "Pack up the cows, we out!" Awesome how much u two enjoyed this one
That’s one of my favorite alien movies. One of M.Knights best in my opinion. If y’all like the alien 👽 genre, try “Fire In The Sky” it’s based on a true story of a guy named Travis Walton who claims he was abducted by aliens. He went missing for 5 days.
That movie will mess you up first time you watch it, lol.
And they arent aliens, theyre demons. The little girl was inadvertently blessing the water making holy water
@@maniac50ae14 I don't think so..
I agree with everything you said. That is why it's called Signs....:)
@@jannathompson2262 i could be wrong but the movie is more religion/spiritual than sci-fi in nature and Beau was called an angel at birth.
@@jannathompson2262In the original screenplay, the creatures were demons, not aliens.
The part where he looks out the window and looks on top of the silo will stick with me forever.
29:22 That legit scared the hell out of Asia! That’s how you know these reactions are authentic. That was actual scared! This was a good upload guys!
The Visit wasn’t too bad either.
@@continuallyblessed44oh yea haha that movie was weird.
@@continuallyblessed44 Aww yeah I forgot he made that one too lol
The message of this movie was beautifully done. I saw this twice in the theaters.
More like highly underrated...
@@cwell510 It's certainly not appreciated as much as it should be but I wouldn't say underrated. The movie did still make over 400 million dollars.
“Idle you don’t know the signs, Read between the lines….” I laughed so loud Thanks for making me laugh 💕

Man, that ending scene where everything is coming together while the music swells gives me chills every time
I have always loved this movie and I'm so glad ya'll enjoyed it. It has so many different layers and so many different meanings. Great reaction.
Maybe not Avatar.

The Greys: they aren't owls. ("The Fourth Kind")
"They stay in the shadows, covert-like..... It's called 'probing.' It's a military procedure. Send out a reconnaissance group. Very small. Check things out. Not to engage, but to evaluate the situation. Evaluate the level of danger. Make sure things are all clear."
"Clear for what?"
"The rest of them."
The Army sergeant has a point.

I always felt like M Night Shyamalan was on the right track with this movie. The scariest movies was not what you seen but what you didn’t see but you knew it was there that got me. I can’t even watch sometimes cause the tension is too much.
I love this film. The cornfield at night scene gives me goosebumps just thinking about it

Just so you know, crop circles aren't nearly as difficult or labor intensive to make as you think. They use wooden boards to flatten large areas at a time, and bend all the stalks in the same direction. It takes two guys a couple of hours to make a decent size one.
I love this movie so much. It's the perfect combination of two stories and a story about aliens that aren't the main point. Brilliant.
