@@giahawkins4237 It was insane! I was sitting right next to where the fighters walk out and I got a close up video of Moreno’s walkout, I got to see Figgy, a picture with Lauren Murphy, and shake Yair Rodriguez’s hand as he was being escorted to his seat. Easily one of the best nights of my life😭

Love Kai, but Izzy is nuts to say he was dominating the fight. He was starting to pull ahead in the round prior to the finish, but no way was Moreno being dominated by Kai the whole fight. I’d love to see them fight again down the road so hopefully Kai gets back to the belt soon
Words of encouragement is the aim there. Not to give technical breakdown round 4 round. I can see why he said that meaning. You lost, but it's not like this will be your last chance. Kai can win against Moreno, but Moreno was the better fighter on that night.

Yeah. Everyone with half a brain knew the first fight was a fluke. Amanda looked so weird and weak from the get go. She couldn't do anything, had no strength, no power. She was coming back from covid and my assumption is that she was not yet fully recovered. At that level, being 80 or even 90% against someone that's 100 % makes a huge difference!

We're not gonna shut up mam. Pena didn't have the skills to beat Nunes at her best and this was honestly the kind of result that should have happened in the first fight. Nunes is only dominant because her divisions are the weakest in the UFC, one of which isn't even a division and exists solely to market Nunes as a double champ. Once Nunes faces someone who isn't afraid of her power, is willing to pressure her and is legitimately skilled, Nunes will look human once more and lose again. Her time will come, it happens to every champion.

Pena proved she has a good ground game, but was dropped 4 or 5 times right off the bat in the beginning and when they were dry she did have a great arm bar attempt that Amanda defended perfectly because she is also a decent BJJ player. All the other submission attempts were not even close. Commentators I think purposely (especially Rogan) makes it sound way more dramatic than it is for the casual viewers at home which is why he makes the commentating booth exciting for the casual when most of us who know whats really going on can get a bit tired of Rogans over-selling. When somebody gets hit with a clean jab "hes hurt!" "shes wobbled!" "Ohh! he stunned him with that!" ..c'mon Joe stop not every strike is significant. Anyway clearly Pena proved she can take a beating for 5 rounds. Amandas face unfortunately was F'ed up from a head butt which no doubt likely effected her performance. First fight was a FLUKE.
