I forgot to mention doc that my wife has had hernia surgery when she was 16 years old. This is Stewart in Naples, Florida using my wife's TH-cam channel so women definitely get hernias quite a few😮
Good morning doctor, my name is Stuart. I'm using my wife's TH-cam channel and I live in Naples, Florida. I have two guinal hernias one on the right is bigger than the one on the left. I have already been to two surgeons for opinion. One is a meshless guy and the other is a robotic laparoscopic with mesh. I must say I am scared spitless of getting this surgery. I'm a super duper hypochondriac but this is not a anxiety problem. I've got a CT scan CT scan. Showed hernia midsize on the right and smaller hernia on the left so I am not one who thinks that mesh is evil or anything like that. I'm just very very concerned. I'm pretty sedentary so I'm not going to be lifting anything or anything like that. They already told me not to lift anything or if heavy, whatever maybe a gallon. Maybe a half a gallon of milk maybe at the most😮 as I understand it, the meshless procedure uses muscle and then stitched together with something to do with the inguinal ligament and I don't know if there's a weakness or a hole in the musculature how this is going to be shored up or stabilized. It's pretty wild the way they claim. They're doing it again. I'm just very concerned. Hopefully I will make a decision but my robotic laparoscopic surgeon cannot do it till October 28th. That's a long time. I'm afraid this could come incarcerated or something by then. I'm not sure but my meshless guy can probably do it Wednesday coming up next week. So any suggestions or whatever would be appreciated as I understand it certain kinds of mesh does not present a biological problems to the body???????
