How strange our times -- more than 45,000 people want to keep track of your lives and adventures, you talk to us as if we were walking along side, and you have a hard time spending time in one place long enough to make true friends. All the best.
It is a bit of a strange and curious thing, true, but I am quite grateful for the effort Vic and Jo put in to sharing their way of life and being in their little corner of the world with us.
It helps people like me that can’t do things like this anytime soon, cause of life situation and I live across the world. My relatives are from over there, so I can imagine what my grandma saw when she lived there and live vicariously through them. 😀✋🏼🇨🇦
Don’t tell any of the other TH-camrs, but you’re our favourites. We love your videos, they’re always so uplifting and we’re loving watching Bill growing and enjoying life - especially geese and sheep xx
I don t know why, but there always seems to be a tranquil feeling when watching you both, and Bill of course, sauntering about, a naturally beautiful woman, and handsome man, sharing their family life , and times, just wonderful, best of health to you all, and keep sharing, thankyou

We thought the boats were the star of the show, but no, its William of course, he is delightful and a credit to you both. Lovely to see you all again, hope you are keeping well and warm.
How about that 2 weeks in-a-row ! 45K and growing. Must admit I didn't think I'd be watching Jo clean out a horse stall, full of surprises for us. A dark and gloomy episode but you've brought out the sunshine in our day. As always Health & Happiness Vic-Jo & William.
Missed you guys ,not that you havent been here all along its that because my wife has been in hospital that I had to ration my time. on line. Now she is out of hospital and staying temporarily with our daughter. I've missed Joanna's smile and watching William growing and yes blowing bubbles too.. .Vic's skill and style with the camera paints a very wonderful and true to life picture of your life including all your trials and triumphs. I love it all. Take care stay warm and never thirsty. .Lots of love from me and Canada XXX
What a thrill to watch young William maturing from infant to toddler. Those eyes are lady killers. Thanks for inviting us into your family and your unique lifestyle. Heavy envy from Phoenix Arizona.
Ohh I forget to tell you. The next stop is Higher Poynton. Originally a coal mining settlement. Here you will find another folly called Lyme Cage. Its a good walk up from the canal to Lyme Park the former stately home of the Lee family. Also in Poynton is a mining museum.
Just found your channel. I am really enjoying seeing life on a long boat. I really enjoy the bits of history you include. I've noticed Vic has an excellent voice. He could be a voice of an audio book, narrating anything. Has he ever done that kind of work?
Lovely to see you again. You post just before I wake on Saturday morning in Australia, so it is a lovely way to start my day. Bollington sounds and looks lovely. And you all look so happy. I hope you can stay for as long as you want to. Thanks for more William this week to enjoy. He's talking! Animals and their noises, but he's talking! My own granddaughter is only a month or so behind him in age so I'm fascinated. Thank you so much once again. (Now I've got to wait a whole week.....)
Where did that 18 minutes and 17 seconds go! Enthralling video. Awesome scenery, cracking commentary, great music and professional production (as always). Hope you can find time to get your cafe going this year. I am already looking forward to your next video. BUT as its Friday night when I am watching this, you did make me feel guilty at the very end, as Friday is always 'Fish And Chips!'
Yep, you are a truly wonderful family. I too wish you everything you wish for in life. If only every family was like you, the world would be a much better place. I’m 68 years young and lived and worked all over the world with a huge variety of peoples and cultures. You guys are the best I’ve come across.
Geese says Bill quite distinctly! Thanks for taking us to Bollington - lovely looking village. Interesting that the canal is still going but Happy Valley is no longer rail served
Glad to see the ice has now melted, loved that walk and info on Bollington, hope it is soon when you can get baking again and brewing some delicious coffee aromas along the towpath
Hi All , Great video ,And what a view from white Nancy , well worth the hike up those steps , your meal looked nice , Thank you for sharing , Take care All.
Having a small person under your own guardianship will always make you think you need more space wherever you live . It never stops, my youngest is 24 on the 11th of Feb ( tomorrow) and her and her elder brother both live 'oop North' and I still feel guilty for wanting more space . ( I live in Suffolk) lmao x
Thanks for the update, guys. William is just sprouting and he is getting his vocabulary sorted. The tales he will be able to tell when he's grown up. What a wonderful life for him. Loved the town of Bollington. So much charm and history, and follies ;) Hope the weather improves for you. Cheers, from sunny South Australia.
Another lovely vlog, thanks for taking us to beautiful Bollington, it’s now on my bucket list of places to visit. It was lovely to hear little William talk, I think geese is his favourite word. Take care and stay safe you 3. X
So great to see you back again. and lovely to see how William is growing up. What a life -harsh I know but you have each other and William and good health.. You will make it and I would choose a life like yours if I were 50 years younger. Still my dream to be a continuous cruiser . One can dream

William is getting to be quite the little man. I love hearing him making his motor sounds. What a lovely place there in Bollington. Very quaint but making modern uses of a now defunct factory. I'll bet the apartments are beautiful as well. Thanks for the tour. I also love the vegetable dinner you fixed. It looked delicious and I am so envious because when I try to make it the vegetables never seem to get as soft as I like or one thing gets soft another is not nearly done. The only thing I would add to it is a nice slab of corn bread. Y'all have a Blessed evening.
You always bring a smile. The little fellow is growing fast. Mine is yelling for a ham sandwich. I better do it before she turns🥰 green and her eyes glow red.
Good to see you in Bolly....lived there 20yrs from 33yrs old...met ex wife on canal day trip opp ur mooring....used to run along all routes u walked...even up White Nancy...then got old and walked instead ha. Still have house there...Great memories....try Poachers pub early doors to get seat by fire...+ a curry takeaway from opposite 2 great local places. Also a walk steep hill opposite drop in centre along Beeston brow a mile to see view to Manchester etc. Try also Waulkmill Waterfall turn off church St into ingersley Vale for 10 mins ..can then continue walk to Rainow or past savio house...some great areas...or walk along canal to Adlington...Nice pub called Windmill..1.5 miles...enjoy
Hiya Vic & Joanne, we just watched you video when you went into hospital to have baby William, CONGRATULATIONS, he's a lovely happy baby, so sweet ❤🥰 We really are enjoy all your videos, keep up the good work 👍 Could you give me your recipe method for how you make your bread Jo please, I have tried a few now & each one has turned out a failure (i even followed one of Paul Hollywood's recipes & that failed on me lol) so it would be nice to try one of yours 👍 Hope to hear from you soon. Marion & Glenn XxX Could you tell me
I was just thinking that calling your son William wasn't the greatest idea. Just look at all those Westerns and War films where the soldiers are told "FIRE AT WILL!!!" Not very good for the wee lad to hear. This was a soft and gentle video, very calming. Well done even with no real battery availability.
Thought that you would enjoy Bolly. Used to live there before moving to Africa. My daughter still lives there. I always thought it was called Happy Valley because in years gone bye, there was a lot of interbreeding OR because Bolly used to have more pubs per head of population that most places around. Enjoy.
You should start a new channel, 'Holly Finds a Foley' or 'Zero Is Our Hero'. Great stuff again. That child of yours in going to break some hearts in the future that's for sure.
Just came across your channel yesterday and really enjoying your journey...started towards the end so will have to go to the beginning. I love the idea of travelling in a narrowboat the length and breadth of the country, but given my age, health and finances it will have to remain a dream. I really like the look of your vegetable jumble...what's in it. I need to eat more healthily 🙂 Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey from the beginning!
Get your self a Power Station for the boat. A Jackery or BLUETTI 1000w should help you fine for Power then turning on the engine for lights. Look into it if you haven’t already.
Great vlog, love the history from towns you visit, coming from the midlands makes me appreciate the quirky little towns more. William so cute when seeing sheep calls Baa. ❤
In the days I was teaching, one of my students grew up on a narrow boat. Her parents, who both worked, moved the boat from one end of the village to the other every now and then. She was an inspiration and very together.
Did a walk from Higher Poynton on Wednesday over the Gritstone Trail to the top of White Nancy then returned via the canal passing both of your moored boats ( no one home ) on a beautiful sunny but cold day. Believe you may not be able to trade that easily on that canal due to restrictions. 😕 Keep up the great content and remember spring is nearly here . 🌼🌼
seem to have a life history on TH-cam at the moment. 2 of my homes shown on a house buying show in December and now Clarence Mill. I remember spending a lot of time there bidding for the building conversion work. Bollington is a lovely part of the world.
Thanks for the trip down my memory lane, I grew up about 10 miles from Bollington, and used to regularly walk along the canal, especially in late summer , picking fruit and berries for my mum's pies. And White Nancy, a local sight for miles around there.
Bollington is my second home. It’s a really quaint village and as you said has everything a villager needs. When at Clarence Mill you should have popped into the local radio station that’s based at the far end.
Lovely to see a serious adult couple appreciating the history & beauty of our wonderful country instead of people putting it down & thinking everywhere else but the UK is cool. We have such a vast history & its lovely to watch you succeed at a different lifestyle than a house in suburbia and a 9 to 5 job is the be all and end all as William looks so content living your life with you and he is adored by both of you & learning about true nature & our beautiful country that is under appreciated by so many who think Benidorm is better than our beautiful country. Nice to see a really intelligent couple enjoying the beauty of life itself. Not a 'conventional' lifestyle as who invented 'conventional' anyway. I hope maybe you can settle somewhere for Williams schooling & keep the boat going too with a permanent mooring. Just so nice to see a lovely serious minded intelligent couple make a success of a different way of life instead of what the masses do who live like robots. Wish you continued success x
Love your vlogs. Gives me a new perspective on what you can do when you put your mind to it. Keep them coming for as long as you can before William dictates a land based life 🙂
I always have a kind of wait of your episode. Loved the positivity of you both. You both are so natural. I hope its same in your OFF TH-cam life. Loved the William too. God bless you. Love from Omar
How lovely this vlog was loved the walks what a stunning scenery ant White Nancy very beautiful your son has grown so much and he enjoys all the animals and birds what a lovely way to grow up, hard work though I expect for you both, keep up the good work love watching your vlogs.
We were venturing to the National Trust Lyme Park which is 15 minutes away and on your recommendation we went to Bollington afterwards. It's a really great place. We didn't see you guys but I hope you are keeping well. Thanks again for mentioning it on this video :)
His comprehension is pretty good! I love watching them pass certain milestones. That was a nice video, but you left us hanging with the horse! How did it go with your new friend? Wash she still friendly after you called to say you left Velvet out?
William is really nailing down those raspberries lol he's scrumptious!!! For teething, try Boots teething powders and LIQUID ANBESOL. don't use the gel or bonjela because it just slides everywhere! Bollington is stunning! I used to deliver to one if those Mills a couple if years ago. Slater Harrison who occupy Lowerhouse Mill. Really impressive building!! You're probably about 35 mins away from where I live which is a place called Worsley. Check it out, could be a decent spot for opening up the cafe if you moored near the Packet House. Thank you for sharing your journey once again guys, stay safe and well and we hope to see you real soon 🙏❤️

I could listen to you both talk all day. You both have lovely speaking voices 🙂 I hope all your wishes come true 🤗
Totally love Jo's accent and Vic should do asmr videos. Both beautiful voices indeed 👍
One of the few NB tubers I HAVE to use the CC on, and with both your accents, the CC is often "yeah, I got nothing man".
LOL - where on earth are you from?
As a brit myself, i think he has a lovely accent...but she has a thick northern accent which I don't like at all. 😉

Beautiful view from Nancy.
We love Bollington too - moored a few boats down from you a couple of weeks ago just across from the mill!
Love your vlogs. Gives me a new perspective on what you can do when you put your mind to it. Keep them coming for as long as you can before William dictates a land based life 🙂
This seems more like a normal video for you then the last one, so welcome back 😏
I always have a kind of wait of your episode. Loved the positivity of you both. You both are so natural. I hope its same in your OFF TH-cam life. Loved the William too. God bless you. Love from Omar

Hello, how are you doing?
We were venturing to the National Trust Lyme Park which is 15 minutes away and on your recommendation we went to Bollington afterwards. It's a really great place. We didn't see you guys but I hope you are keeping well. Thanks again for mentioning it on this video :)
Lovely vlog and so good to see you all enjoying some time together that isn’t work . Take care, God bless xx
His comprehension is pretty good! I love watching them pass certain milestones. That was a nice video, but you left us hanging with the horse! How did it go with your new friend? Wash she still friendly after you called to say you left Velvet out?
Great to see you on the Macc. You do great vlogs. Keep up the good work.
A talented couple with loads of friends!! Liked the med veg. Don't put yourselves under pressure to make a video every week.
Another cracking video Andy, I so enjoy these hikes very enjoyable 👍
Victor.
I'm so glad you are enjoying the Macclesfield Canal as much as I did. Although I visited the Bollington brewery rather than White Nancy.
You're our favourite youtube family, so glad normal Friday night scheduling has resumed 🤗
