Before this season aired, I did not know what they meant when they said this season would be different. As much as I love Euphoria's popular look, I applaud them for having the guts for giving a very different feel for season 2. I definitely felt it and it just shows their talent, for being able to pull off the exact feeling they wanted the audience to feel.
The Nate and Cassie scene in the bathroom trying to hide from Maddy was so intense, it had me on the edge of my seat. This episode was so good though Edit: thx so much for the 4.1K likes, most I’ve ever gotten and shocking honestly how I got this many but thanks!

This show is definitely gonna make history. It’s so different and frighteningly relatable it just really pulls you in. The way the start season 2 off with New Years while we’ve just begun a new year also makes you feel like you’re there with them. And can I just say tops to the Original Israeli Euphoria for inspiring Sam to make this version? Couldn’t have been without them!
You have a good point, but that’s just the same as Harry Potter’s program. I grew with it along with millions of people and feel closer to the storie because of it.

The scenes between Cassie and Nate were some of the best I’ve seen in the whole show. The car scene with Orville Peck playing, the way the cars were whooshing past the faster Nate drove the car, Cassie sticking her head out the window. It was shot beautifully. Overall, the way the camera displayed the power dynamics between them, Cassie being constantly below him. It was just so well done!
the fact that we can be so invested in an episode that takes place in one setting just shows how powerful the writing, directing, and acting is. we all love these characters so much, we can just watch them living their lives at one party. same goes for the carnival ep in season 1.
Also, Fez’s story is so interesting, definitely wasn’t what I was expecting, but honestly I didn’t know what to expect with him. Glad we got to know more about him and Ashtray.
This show is so insanely good. That description of the party snapshots it being like taking a picture blew my mind wow they really think of everything and it makes all the difference . This show makes you feel emotion like no other. Well done! Cannot wait for the next episodes!
That light/photo capturing moment gave me goosebumps- pure art. I like that stripped back look they're going for - less glitter/aesthetic lighting, more real and gritty. Not a lot of foundation/concealor is being used either, which gives the characters a more vulnerable, realistic look. Can't wait

I’m so glad the whole set and Sam are aware of how it has helped people discover their own feelings and relate to the characters in this show, as if to say “this is what i feel and I can’t express it on my own but this has made me realise it and understand what’s going on”

Cassie’s storyline is too simple, no depth there. Her sisters storyline will be so much better and it’s well deserved
