    About This Video:
    In this video, Chris Trump from NaturalFarming.co explains how his farm uses IMO1 & IMO2. This is not a 'how to' video. This video is just a ride along with me while Shane and I collect the indigenous inoculum for our orchard nutrition program. We use Korean Natural farming methods to accomplish this. The place we collect microbes from is an area that has been mostly undisturbed for an unknown period of time and has been tested and found to have extremely diverse microbial populations.
    Chris Trump is an expert in Natural Farming. Chris teaches Natural Farming worldwide and creates resources to equip farmers and gardeners on how to increase crop and livestock performance through sustainability, all while decreasing costs. Be part of the Natural Farming movement to increase awareness of the global food crisis and how to combat it.

    Why do you keep IMO2 for years? I had the impression as soon as it was "ready", you proceed to the next stages. I have just watched the few videos available on this. I really appreciate your efforts doing these videos.

      +Morgrim X Think of IMO2 as your 'sour dough starter' or you 'diverse biological seed stock'. It is collected well, then stored in 'cryo-freeze' with the sugar. When you need to make some material you don't have to go digging in the woods every time. You also can keep a diverse selection of IMO2s for use together for the purpose of achieving high microbiological diversity in you IMO3&4. Feel free to ask more questions if that didn't answer it for you :) Thank you for the support!

    Cris Trumph, I am from India found your vedioes best for learning. I have prepared almost all ingredients successfully except IMO MY ALL IMO, has gone green powdery form. Except one which too was 60 percent green dry powdery and 40 percent white. Is it usable?Temprature was too low. 40, 55 F. KEPT FOR 12 TO 14 DAY. NOW i have collected some compost from forest 600 km away from my place from bamboo bunch of tree good sweet smell placed in a basket and placed some cooked rice in plastic bowl. Inoculation started after 6 days but little .Should I give some more time? Reason of going green there was a medium rain too during this period.Your vedioes are awesome and top learning material for natural farming available on u tube.

    Hi Chris thank you for this, it has taken me 4 days to listen to your video and write it all out I probably have to watch it again a few more times. Is it possible to make a lesser quantity or is that measurement of all the herb and spices the only amount to do. The combination of all of them together be it a small amount must be quite something. Thanks again for the great explanation.

    Everyone shows how to make IMO2 but nobody explains how to use it! 🤔 Or is the only purpose to create an ingredient for IMO 3,4,5? Can I not use this on my soil?

    • @TradingWithHunter
      @TradingWithHunter 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you can use it in the soil sure just make sure you apply water with it to awaken the life. Making Liquid IMO from imo2 is the other path you can go, so that can be used as foliar, or mixed in waterings, etc.

    One more (little) question, is it really necessary to use this very brown raw suger, because where I live its extremely expensive and hard to get, esspecially in bigger amounts. What is the real purpose of it, and is it maybe possible to use substitutes??? As far as i understood it helps conserving the IMO and binds it so it can not oxidate. What about using dirty white sugar, or melasis????
    Love & Light thanks for your work.

    What size pot of rice you recommend cooking for IMO? or is it just relative to the size of box you have to place the rice in, bigger being better for more rice? also whats your method of cooking it to get it completely cooked but dryish in nature? Mahalo!

    • @biomei.solutions
      @biomei.solutions  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Terran Lusk good question :) cook rice to fit your box. So for cook da rice, on ting you need is one cheeri rice cooka. ;) for reals though, cook it like half way to the knuckle instead of to the knuckle if you do it that way. Otherwise just cook it with slightly less water than you would normally use. This is pretty important for a good collection.

      Chris Trump thank you for getting back with me! I will try the IMO input next, KNF is new to me, I did prepare LAB and FFJ about 10 days ago using your videos, the LAB is real stinky and dosent look quite like yours with the cake forming on the top.
      seems to be caking on the bottom, might be to early still but the serum in the middle looks a good clear"ish" yellow.
      as far as IMO is it only usuable in the garden with the 4th stage when you mix it with soil? Much Mahalos braddah hope the mainland is good for you! your last video showed some real beauty up there.

    • @biomei.solutions
      @biomei.solutions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s likely that your collection wasn’t good or so active that you needed more sugar initially. It is bad that it bubbles. Not recommended as the only collection for an IMO3

    Hi chris,
    i collected a batch but i get a lot of grey green and some reds while most of the fuzz is grey. I do see some mycelium though between the rice kernels.
    You reckon this is bad collection?

    • @biomei.solutions
      @biomei.solutions  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      tz0rge colors are not 'evil' but when they dominate the collection it tends to be a sign that something that isn't ideal has occurred. I would use that collection, but also make sure to collect several more and use those as well. You are going to put a lot of work into the following stages of IMO so take the time to get some IMO2 that you feel really confident about. It seems hard but it is important to get proficient at this step first... I'll make a good 'how to' video here soon :) Keep up the good work man. You can friend me on Facebook if you want to show picture and talk about your process to get critiqued. Aloha!

    • @YungFooly
      @YungFooly 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chris Trump yes it does and brings up another. so when its white like in this video its lesser quality?

    • @biomei.solutions
      @biomei.solutions  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Akil Taylor no. White like that is good, call that compete success. It doesn't need to be perfectly white. Different areas and environments will have a slightly different feel, but generally you are going for the white fuzz :)
