    As a Norwegian and one of probably billions all across the World who were watching, aghast, the attack on USA's Capitol unfolding on live TV before our very eyes,
    it is beyond bizarre, and frankly depressing, to behold how it even is up for discussion whether trump is suitable to be on the ballot or not.

    It is scary the way those judges can think sometimes: The state is not fixing who has to be in the ballot, nor whom the people should vote for for president. They want to believe it's unnatural and immoral and the fact it's been going on at every point throughout history makes that harder to justify. It's also why they like to pretend animals never have gay sex. It's easier to hate people for being gay when you believe it to be unnatural.

      Narcissistic personality disorder: (Wiki)
      People with NPD struggle with intense and pervasive feelings of shame, worthlessness, low self-compassion, and self-loathing.[11][12][13] Their view of themselves is extremely malleable and dependent on other's opinions of themselves. They also are hypersensitive to criticism and possess an intense need for admiration.[14][15][16] People with NPD gain self-worth and meaning through this admiration.[17][18] Individuals with NPD are often motivated to achieve their goals, status, improvement, and perfectionism, and to ignore relationships or avoid situations due to fears of incompetence, failure, worthlessness, inferiority, shame, humiliation, and losing control.[12][7]
      People with NPD will try to gain social status and approval in an attempt to avoid and combat these feelings,[19] often by exaggerating their skills, accomplishments, and their degree of intimacy with people they consider high-status.[20][21][22] Alongside this they may have difficulty accepting help,[23] vengeful fantasies, a sense of entitlement,[21][24] and they may feign humility. They are more likely to try forms of plastic surgery due to a desire to gain attention and to be seen as beautiful.[2][25][26] A sense of personal superiority may lead them to monopolize conversations, look down on others or to become impatient and disdainful when other persons talk about themselves.[2][11] Drastic shifts in levels of self-esteem can result in a significantly decreased ability to regulate emotions.[27]
      I guess getting a "beautiful love letter" from a "strong and prowerful" North Korean dictator might go down well.

    I've read a history on Alexander the Great 40 years ago. The fact that he had a male lover was in the book.
    Another history I read said that Spartan warriors had male lovers before they were allowed to marry women.

      Yes we do. And I’m dropping mine off early at the conveniently located drop box with security cameras. And if anyone tries to intimidate voters dropping off ballots, I am calling the cops and the Election Board again. Reps from both parties guard that box on Election Day after that.

      More on the story. He was being asked questions having to do with his son's death - to which he was highly reluctant to respond to such emotional questions. Question s that had no relevance to the purposes of the interview - a second interview of 5 hours on day two. Seemed like an observation that was personal opinion, Republican in essence.

    As a Canadian, I'm much more concerned about Trump's "mishandling" of classified documents, with his history of giving secrets of US allies to our mutual enemies. Keeping a few documents in a garage is not the same thing at all!

    • @ScottCleve33
      @ScottCleve33 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You know that Trump had those documents locked up in a room in his home and when asked to further secure them he locked them in a cabinet within that locked room. Biden on the other hand had his documents sitting in a cardboard box on his garage stacked up next to his corvette.

    The special counsel also said that Biden couldn't remember his son Beau's dying, to throw out insulting MAGA fuel. Now, I question Merrick Garland's judgement in appointing such a biased counsel, who couldn't find violations, but took every opportunity in the report to politically undercut Biden's candidacy.

      I was mildly surprised they bothered to photoshop something. They hardly needed to. I stidied ancient Greek art in college, and a few years ago, I gave a friend a personal tour of the Greco-Roman collection at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles. I pointed out such favorites as "sassy bff Odysseus", "anachronistic kouros the museum refuses to admit is fake", and several examples of everyone's favorite motif, "two dudes who are not actually wrestling, no matter what the card says". There's a whole visual language around it. (Long story short, if you see a teenage boy holding a chicken, refuse to answer your kids' questions.)

      low key perhaps. but what made him 'gay' for you in this film? his friendship with Hephastion? he was shown with women too and that eunuch ofc. the sexuality shown was very fluid and probably nearer to the truth than anything 'one-sided'
