Der Marsch wird zwar von den Tiroler Musikkapellen gespielt - der Gesang dazu ist aber nicht erlaubt! Wieder einmal - vielen Dank, Herr Doktor!
Das beachten echte Tirol nicht bei uns wird marschiert musiziert und gesungen!

Bei dem Standschützenmarsch
und dem Kaiserjägermarsch muss ich immer an "Der Standschütz" denken, als die Standschützen in Tirol tapfer einem überlegenen gegnerischen Großangriff entgegenhalten und solang standhalten bis ihnen die sehnlich erbittet und erhofften Kaiserjäger zu Hilfe kommen
Neben den Tiroler Standschützen wurden auch freiwillige Schützenkompanien aus den Kronländern Kärnten , Salzburg und Oberösterreich mobilisiert. Das bayerische Alpenkorps unter General von Delmensingen sprang ebenfalls mit rund 50.000 Mann zur Sicherung der Südgrenze ein.
