- here it is, the video you've (maybe) been waiting for--Buffalo's remodel process! i documented everything from start to finish and i'm very excited to share with you all! :)
Buffalo opened in May of 2000 with a Studio C Alpha stage & remained relatively the same since, aside from a remodel in 2009 which expanded into a closed department store. The show remained until August of 2022.
The remodel itself took a little over 2 months to complete--July 20 to September 17, 2022.

My first chuck e. cheese frequented 2003-2006, sad to see all the cool art gone
Wonderful video showcasing the process of remodeling & moving onto the 2.0 branded stuff! It must've been saddening seeing all the old wall art & Chuck himself leave, but the space is definitely leaving more room for future plans to better the experience & move on from outdated practices. Once again great video!
This is an amazing remodel process! The day when they started remodeling felt like yesterday, lol.

it’s very interesting to see such a large location be completely remodeled, seeing the clash with 2.0/Phase 4 kinda messed with my brain though

Freaking annoying. Then get rid of the play place, the mirror room, and the animatronics. I loved the animatronics so freaking much, sad to see them get replaced by a projector, and screen. 😢
Sorry Buffalo got 2.0. I know what it’s like to loose your childhood show. But let’s look at the positive side of things, the show wasn’t going to work anymore anyways. If it was an MMBB or phase 3, it would’ve been a different story.
Something just seems so not right about this remodel, like they removed the heart and soul of CEC and turned it into a generic kid version of Dave and busters

Why couldn’t you just say if you wanted the studio C animatronic can you keep it in your house
i would have loved to keep him but he got messed up pretty bad when they took him apart. corp has eyes on these everywhere

tbh? my store is still good, even with 2.0. im grateful that we got a good remodel, as there are a lot of stores out there whose 2.0s look absolutely horrible. i love my store no matter how it looks. ❤️
