The problem with their GDP numbers is that they themselves have admitted to artificially construction their economic growth numbers. So no one knows where the real Chinese economy is at, not even the Chinese economic ministers themselves. However, it's generally accepted that it is indeed slowing down. We just don't know exactly how much because of all the artificial growth they included in their forecasts for years.
