My Church played this during the Eucharist today and I had to find it. I absolutely love being a Catholic! There is nothing else like it on earth once you open your heart. The part where it says "what God joins no one can divide" is so powerful because nothing can tear down the foundation of our Church. May the Lord bless His one true bride, the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, now and forever.
As I continue my journey as a mystic for God, I come back to this song and this cover particularly to remind me of how powerful the Eucharist is. The body and blood of Jesus Christ connects us all with its consumption, and we all become one with the Lord God Almighty.
Thanks so much for posting this; reading Heb. 10 about the spirit of Grace being insulted by the antichrists who target persons childhood, their parents, their grandparents, their grandchildren....seems they are without limit to their evils except when we Christians pray specifically against every tactic of the 'many antichrists' (1 John ch.2 ) then we are doing the fundamentals of Christianity and fighting the good fight of faith. Thanks for the Holy Catholic Church and for all holy Christians everywhere.
Mellow song; well executed! I convert guitar chords to notes so I can play left hand on the piano and I am stumped by that sweet sounding Ebsus2(#4). Can you tell me the notes please?
What I'm doing as far as the chord form is on Capo 3 as I'm playing the C chord, is just shift the whole thing two frets up the next. It's not EXACTLY the correctly chord because it doesn't maintain the C as the bass note but it accomplishes getting in the two notes I need which is a D and an F#. If you're thinking about the non-capoed chords, the two notes in Ebsus2 versus regular Eb, is needing to add an F and an A(natural). That probably made it more complicated.....
Another Sunday de-stressed….many thanks!
And this is why I attend Mass. Yes!
I love this one!! Me too playing this one tonight!
Thank you for singing this hymn.
Your voice is great!
