Why do everyone talk about graphics and not about artstyle???? I'm a POE player and POE has great graphics but lack artstyle while diablo 3 has great artstyle and has kinda good graphics.
He's shitting on the fact that these new ancient ancients are absolutely hilarious considering you'd never use them instead of a set item, they're that useless you don't have to even think about it. The best you can do with them is let them rot in your stash. Also PoE has a lot of low lvl uniques, nerfed ones or straight up bad ones. On the other hand most awesome build revolve around a single unique that is build defining.
you can swap set items for uniques you have rorg it's up to you to create the build there are so many options depending on what you want from your game he is bitching because the meta is defined you have 4 sets per character with 1 extra ring set there are 5 builds and then different items define what skills you use until you find the optimal items this is because if you want to get to top 10 you have to use this same shit for poe only a few builds can get to top level content 99% of the others kill themselves due to lag or some random effects if you want to be number 1 there is 1 build you can play and you have to optimize it
I agree D3 is a bit too simple compared to Path of Exile, but it would've been better if he had played it with others. That's D3's primary strength compared to PoE. Progressing in GR with a team of friends in hardcore mode is where the fun is at.
But they're very different games, PoE adheres to a more competitive audience whilst D3 is made for all gamers. One's success doesn't undermine the others, they are both just entertainment platforms.

But he didnt "play it for hundreds of hours despite disliking it", he played it for one day. And then he indeed decided to stop playing.
You don't even have to cleverly edit shit for Diablo 3 to look boring. A real challenge would be trying to come up with a good way to explain how Diablo 3 is a fun game.
