The way I got my monster wolf is to first tame a very high level with good stats in health, stam and melee. Then breed that one with another very low level. Keep on breeding until you have a baby that inherits the HP, Melee and Stam from the high level wolf, and the Oxygen, Food and Weight from the low level parent. (You can breed for the weight as well from the high level. But keep in mind that the baby will be higher level, and thus, fewer levels left until 450). Keep on breeding until you have a perfect Male and Female with the exact same stats. That way it's easier for you to know the exact stats the baby will have, In case you want to give some puppies to other players and easier to see if it comes out 2 levels higher than the parents, which means a stat mutation. Took me about a week and 4 generations to get them both perfect. (Was during the last Breeding Event) When 100% imprinted, I ended up with a level 347 wolf with: Health: 5702 Stamina: 1742 Oxygen: 435 Food: 4471 Weight: 432 Melee: 588% So as you can imagine it's pretty beastly now when you can pump in 103 levels in those stats. Only after around 30 levels I have over 10k HP and 750% Melee.
You should keep looking for level 295 wolves with higher hp and melee. It took me a while but I found two 295 wolves, one with high hp and one with high melee. My wolves have 6300hp and 581% melee at birth. 7600 hp and 685 melee with 100% imprint.
@@warreaper3519 sure, but what level do they have at birth? Since 450 is max, it cannot be too high level at birth. Or you won't be able to get enough levels into then to make it worth the high stats at birth. One of my wolves are now at 380 after just 33 levels and have 11k HP and 768% Melee. And I still have 70 levels left to pump those stats a lot higher.
15min you said that the oxyden stat is wasted but i dont think that it is for example i used my wolve ( also cave tamed) to fight an alpha mosasaur so to me the hig oxygen came very handy. So i think wastd is a bit exessive ( wolves are great water tames ( aspecialy if you dont have a base near water))

You can but you can't tame them in the cave...you must kill them take their implant and revive them then tame them.if you knock out one without killing and reviving it,it won't eat anything.there will not be tamed

I lowered their level with other wolves. I lowered them to 370-390.
